Marlins have now secured a post season spot through today. At 36-32. Amazing. Great work all around. But you can't let nick hundley get bases loaded clearing doubles. And I'll leave it at that. Go fish!

After Chen, Marlins relievers allowed just 1 hit and 2 walks thru 6.2 inning with 7k.

And Giancarlo Stanton collected 3 hits tonight WITHOUT ANY STRIKEOUT.

You do realize that Hundley is a major league player, don't you?  It's not his first double nor his last.  Agree that Chen has been horrible.  But to fixate on the fact that it was Hundley who got the hit is silly.

Marlins also reach .500 at home for the first time this season which is awfully encouraging.

Hundley is not cargo arenado story Reynolds or Blackmon.

Nice win, but our starting pitching sucks.

That's my canadamarlin thought of the day.

You are 1.5 weeks from me labeling you an all-star, buddy.

Crappy duel :

James Shields 1.2ip 7h 8r 8er 3b 2k

Wei Yin Chen 2.1ip 7h 6r 6er 2b 1k

White Sox got stabbed in the back by Padres GM A.J Preller. If we signed with Shields past offseason, we were really fucked up I think.

Correct.  He is Hundley.

That's like 4 straight shields duds right? Wow...

Shields maybe got the same issue with Willis.

Poor White Sox,just fallen to the hell from the heaven, after the fast start they're a team below .500 now with Latos' release and Shields' trade, really terrible.

1/2 game back stupid Mutts, did that hurt Admin?

I have more confidence in Koehler right now than I do in Chen. Chen is painful to watch and has been for several weeks.

I'll be at the game tomorrow. @Admin should make the game thread tomorrow.

We have to listen to the game thread flow.

Mets lost.  :bitch_please-min:

Did you update the calendar?

True. Just proves baseball is a long marathon. By the end of April, you would think it was destined for a Cubs white sox world series

I was invited to the game today for a special event in regards to season tickets. Seeing as I really want to attend the all-star game next year I decided to go. Ended up buying tickets to the last 11 weekend games and guaranteed seats for next season too.

Because of this they moved my girlfriend and I into one of the suites.. Wow, those suites are a million times better than the ones at Sunlife.. The representative was so nice, I told him the only way I would buy tickets was if I could get a Kevin Brown bobble head. Sure enough he came back with the bobble head, lol. It's been a dream of mine to be a season ticket holder, even if it is one of the mini plans, realistically that is the best choice for me.

The game was really the icing on the cake. After the game I saw JT signing baseballs. A gentleman with down syndrome was standing next to me maybe 11 rows back from where JT was signing (by the dugout). I helped get JT's attention so he can sign the guys ball. It was a very touching sight to see the guy throw a perfect toss right to JT. Realmuto then threw it right back to him after he finished signing the ball and the dude caught it perfectly. His reaction was priceless!

God I love baseball..

Also I know this is a bit to early to tell but has anyone else noticed how if the season were to end today.. The chances of a repeat to the 2003 NL Posteason would be extremely high. I don't know, I just found it funny. I could picture the Cubs beating the Nats and then us winning the wild card and playing the giants.. You guys know the rest!

You think the Giants will end up with a better record than Cubs?

Awesome story, brother.

Not really but I'm just saying that the similarity is there, lol. I just hope there's still a Steve Bartman on our side somewhere.

Awesome story, brother.

Thanks Vince!
