August 16, 201610 yr To all my MILB peeps, tell me about Scruggs. Is he any good? His stats look great in AAA, but he *is* already 28. What do you all think of him?

August 16, 201610 yr he's walked a lot in AAA too fwiw. I mean Justin Bour was wallowing in the minors for a while too, pretty similar age & production down there. So yeah not a prospect anymore but he's certainly hot this season.
August 17, 201610 yr As has been said plenty of power that will translate. Hasn't had a month under .400 SLG this year. Will come at the cost of Ks but balances them out with walks and always has. Doesnt barrell up enough but when he does it goes far. He gives us the best shot of any of our in house options when it comes to putting up power numbers. He should be up

He should be up Good analysis, but it's really as simple as this. For a "hitter friendly league" he's still putting up better numbers than Andino, Gillespie, Kelly and others who have been up on this roster that have also played in the same league.
