I'm not much luck with game threads but seeing as I'm the only person around here who thinks the 2017 Marlins can actually win another game this season, here goes nothing...

What a waste of time starting a game thread, worst team ever, longest season ever. They remind me more of the 1998 Marlins than the 2003 Marlins. Trade everyone, no useful players. Ozuna sucks, Stanton is awful.

Yeah don't want anyone thinking anything weird about us. If a foul ball comes between us though you either call it or I'm diving for it. Can't run the risk of anyone else getting it.

Actually surprised the lineup isn't more shuffled for today. Felt like a good day to rest an outfielder and give Ichiro a start.

Oh yea forgot about that. Wow that's odd. I know Ichiro isn't doing well but the offense is non existent this week and eventually Ichiro needs a start, rest someone and let Ichiro get 3 or 4 at bats on the day he's being honored. Mattingly must have forgotten about the Ichiro thing.

For me, it's not that they suck...it's that they are playing a listless boring brand of baseball. Really it has been since that Mets series...so it becomes big ole "what is there to talk about?"

 

I know (and you can probably see by my ip) that I am on here all day everyday...

 

It is just not fun when they get into a rutt like this...and with all sports...if you complaineveryone gets mad.

 

So, for fun, maybe we should make predictions...

 

Ramos will lose the stike zone and let two runners on.

 

Stanton will strike out looking at a fast ball on the outside edge.

 

Freddy will questionably send a runner.

With Loria selling the team and throwing in the towel Dont expect any mid season moves to bring in a couple of half decent pitchers. At the moment we have non,  Koehler will probably give up 5 homers today with his down the middle of the plate approach
