Sorry for Bour and Stanton.  The schedule with the Marlins in California didn't help them at all.  Probably didn't get much sleep.

They were really into it for Bour and Stanton, them both being eliminated kinda killed the excitement.

 

 

only fun left would be to root against Judge but he homers just by blinking.  I can't believe he's hit so many to center and right-center.

 

 

Bour did a great job in getting 22.  It was more than I thought he would actually.  I thought Stanton would get the 22+ actually.  Makes me more impressed with Bour than I did last year.

yeah once the two fish were out i turned the TV  to better things.  Bour was by far the most entertaining of the first round though - donut power is a real thing.  Stanton was visibly gassed this year - it probably did have a lot to do with being all the way on the west coast yesterday (and playing extras).  It was some truly shitty scheduling to have the ASG host team playing an away series as about as far as possible from their home the night before.

 

 

They should just use highest HR totals to advance.  Bour would've kicked Sano & Sanchez ass.
