fish53
So dangerous with flying bats and screaming balls. Even far down the line. My seats at Dolphin Stadium and at Marlins Park are exactly the same. About 10 rows up, first base side of home plate, but always behind the netting. SonOfJack
I sat 2nd or 3rd row behind fish dugout and a ball soared past our heads like a line drive right above us. We were not on our phones or distracted. We were watching the pitch and the swing but it got to us so quick, we had no chance to react. If it was lower, it would've hit us. Put the netting in. Das Texan
The net doesnt detract from the overall experience. After pitch 5 you dont even know its there.

People who act like the net is in their way maybe haven’t sat behind one.
Italian Marlins Fan
In Japan, they extend netting from foul pole to foul pole. I wonder if MLB will do that as well.
