Mariners signing Ichiro to MLB deal

Featured Replies

that should be cool to see when he debuts there.  He's pretty done but still cool to see.

Cool. Good for him and good for Mariner fans as nostalgia but are they really that bad on the bench up there? He might be atrocious.

In other case, OPS .875, 1B Adam Lind just signed 1year minor league contract. But Mariners add OPS 600 Ichiro with 1year major league contract. That's not fair.

this is his good by tour, so that's why

Unsigned Cargo still available. If I were a Mariners GM, I will get him. Cargo will accept a 1 year deal, gladly.

Ichiro says it's "baseball or death" for him... well the family better start making funeral arrangements.

"I really just hope he keeps playing," Gordon says with a chuckle, "because I don't want him to die. I believe he might die if he doesn't keep playing. What is Ichiro gonna do if he doesn't play baseball?"
