He is, but so is Mark Feisand who earlier in the day said Puig appears to be a primary target for them.

As some have pointed out on twitter, it is possible that both reports are right. They may be done negotiating and he's just pondering the "final" offer from Chicago.

Why the White Sox still want to sign Puig after spending lots of money in this off-season ? it's simply because they want to win now.

They aren't winning now (2020) with or without Puig. They also weren't winning in 2020 with Ozuna or Castellanos. But they still should've actually tried for one of them in my opinion.

I think the White Sox aren't much closer than us to being a contender, but they just do their best to try to win as many games as possible by signing those FAs.

I never said the adding of FAs would make this team a title contender now, I always said it would make me feel better about this team to WIN AS MANY GAMES AS POSSIBLE.

 

I never said Chen was my favorite player, I support him when he's in this team was just because he's my compatriot, I believe everybody here would support their compatriots especially if they're the minority groups.

 

I'm really feel sad for you that you always stuck in the mud with the hating of Chen even after he's released from the contract, every team have the high paid underperformed players and it would never stopping them to continue to sign the high paid players to improve the team.
