Brinson Diaz, the deadliest 4-5 in MLB

Brinson and Isan both have extra base hits!

Nobody writes a lineup up as well as James Rowson does.

Brinson's live wRC+ is up to 90. That means he is only 10% worse than average.

Alex Jackson looks like someone but I can't think of the name

Rendon has a similar stance

Updated numbers for Brinson, post-break: In 10+ games (31 PA) he has a .286/.355/.607 slash line.

Damn

I seriously want to see him get an extended run in the heart of the order. This season is over anyway.

I’ve been telling everyone all year that he looks like a different guy approach wise. Whatever he was doing with Juan Pierre in the offseason is paying dividends.

As long as he maintains an OPS over .800 on this run, he should stay in the lineup. At this point, I have him penciled in as the 4th OF for next year. As of right now it is still Sanchez, Cooper, and whichever CF they get in the offseason above him. But if he can actually continue improving, then he can work himself into a platoon with Sanchez / Coop (for defensive and health reasons). Of course he still has to clean up his awful multi bad strikeout games, but at least he is doing damage in his good games now.

Colton Welker is more than just a minor leaguer there Todd. Colton has the potential to be the best player from the Coral Springs area since Rizzo.

Much better 4th. The 5th inning should be a huge test and will likely be the end of the line for Luz.

If he keeps hitting the way he’s been hitting them he should be the CF. If he’s going to hit like that then sign someone like Kevin Pillar instead to be the 4th guy and address something else.

Also, way better inning but Jesus there. Might be able to go 6 now.

Really wanna see Luzardo go 6 and get that QS.

If he has a clean 5th, he might get there as the 6th would be the bottom of the order.
