Nope. I think he’s up to 40 games now that he’s hitting .275 or better. That’s not a small sample size.

But yeah this hitting coach has done nothing to help the hitters adjust especially to the breaking pitches.

Over 700 ab’s for lew before this season and they were abysmal… so I need more then said 40 games

Doesn’t matter what happened in his past. It’s about his ABs and approach right now and if you can’t tell he’s miles better of a hitter than he’s ever been then you shouldn’t be watching baseball.

what in the absolute hell is he doing?  Down 1 run in the 8th and they leave Mori in there to get shelled for 4 straight runs.  I get the season's in the trash heap but my god.

I’ve seen guys in the past have great streaks of hitting  and look like they are Gonna be good and then turn into an absolute waste of space .

So SORRY need more then this SMALL sample size. If he comes back and does  this consistently next year I’ll give him props but right nope not gonna get my hopes up.

He did the same thing with Guenther yesterday and he got sent down.

He has 123 MLB ABs this season and he’s batting .269. That’s a full season for some role players in the league. His slugging is up, his OBP is up, his RISP I up, His average vs. breaking balls are up, and his K’s are down meaning statically his approach his way better which FYI You don’t need to know those stats to see that it’s better Yet you’re worrying about 700 ABs that happened in the past? Yes. Please turn off your TV and quit commenting about baseball.

Brinson is probably just on a hot streak. His approach has improved, we’ve been saying that for a while though.  His minor league numbers (small sample) this year haven’t been eye dropping so there’s that.   Did management do him wrong?  I believe so, he’s put in the work and it’s not like the current bench players are any better.  

He could be a nice solid depth piece but he’s not someone you can build around for next year.   Nice dinger btw.  I’m gonna watch it 50 times because it’s kinda hard to believe.
