Bleier and Head are both rested (pitched Friday). Okert isn't overloaded yet, could go consecutive days. Scott could go consecutive days. Seven relievers here. Even if Elieser only goes two innings ... we have enough guys who can go an inning each after that. This move was unnecessary. Poteet could have also possibly gone one extra inning and Don wouldn't have had to use Castano ... in fact he didn't have to regardless, but he did. And Castano used two days in a row for ... one inning each. Combined 47 pitches. I feel like, if absolutely necessary, he could have done one more inning today. Completely unnecessary (and wrong!) move.
