Been looking at Baseball Savant to see why Bender has been struggling so much to start the year. His velocity is fine and if anything he has more movement than last year. So he is either getting too predictable and missing over the plate, or he is tipping his pitches. Maybe he is gonna be fine, but is just having a run of bad luck. What do you guys think?

Wonder if Wendle can handle SS as a starter there? Maybe platoon him with Rojas?

93 is about right for him. He may pump a couple up to 95 here and there.

Averaging about 93.5 over the last five years per Baseball Savant so I think he's fine.

His Stuff+ number has been very good so it’s not stuff related. I think he’ll be fine too, but I think Mattingly should just do matchups every inning instead of just having a guy for the 9th.

He matches up a righty for Jazz every time a lefty comes in, but can’t match up in the bullpen smh.

He could have called that one. Thankfully he did not. Go Aggy.
