Can I ask a dumb question: If this were a done deal, why wait until the 8th to announce it? I'm not saying that it can't happen, but you have to believe that more positives come from announcing it tomorrow or the day after, rather than waiting a week. Vlad could sign with another team by then, and really all we want the stadium for is Vlad . I mean if it's "done" and they've decided to set the 8th as the day to announce it, that makes little sense to me, you usually don't wait 9 days to announce something... :confused He is waiting till Jan. 8th to announce it because on Thursdays Jan. 8th he will announce the Marlins new home along with the signing of Vlad Guerrero! :w00t :w00t :w00t :w00t :w00t
