Lol what? They have been one of the worst teams in baseball the last six years. Like, even worse than the Marlins. Not sure how taking a massive gamble on Jacob deGrom, who has made 26 starts the last two years and turns 35 in June, means the Rangers have "great ownership."

If he stays healthy, sure, it's a terrific move, but the chances of that seem slim. He will be 40 by the end of this deal in which he is making nearly $40 million annually. I would absolutely not have ever wanted the Marlins to sign deGrom to this type of deal.
