April 15, 20233 yr Where's @pollythewog with the game thread? Skip is better than Donny managing a bullpen and making pitching changes but his lineups are just as horrible. No Yuli or Soler today but we have Avi and Sanchez. All the while Arraez is still out. Thank God he didn't feel like Jazz needed a third day off!!! SMH

Yuli could have been in the lineup, in fairness. That said ... the lineups are basically just having to use what he's given. It was the same for Don last year, again in fairness. Don just ... ya know ... hit for people at bad times and all that.

SMH I don't think Marlins managers set the lineups, but they clearly do make the in-game decisions, and that's where we're already seeing a huge difference. I don't think the Marlins have lost a game yet this season due to a managing decision that every other manager in baseball would have done differently. These were the "Mattinglosses" I tracked throughout last season.
