November 8, 20232 yr Speaking for yourself, which are you going to request? I'm sure someone here will whip out that ol' comedic gem of a "viking funeral" but in all seriousness...which and why or do you not have a preference and will leave that up to whomever stays behind or finds your body?

November 8, 20232 yr Doesn't really matter - I kinda like those things now where you become a tree or diamond or something, which I guess would mean cremation
November 8, 20232 yr Burial for me just cuz that's how my family has always done it. I don't think anyone in my recent family history has ever been cremated. I wouldn't want to be cremated but it's also just all I've known so I haven't really thought about it further than that.

Weird topic choice. You feeling particularly sick lately?

Headed to a funeral today so it just got me wondering why people want what they want. I'm team cremation just because of the costs alone are enough to make me roll over in my grave if I was buried. I used to want to be buried because that was all I knew growing up but it seems most folks are going towards the cremation route now. Just curious.

Maybe Marlins fans who want to be cremated can arrange for it to be done using the organization's perennial dumpster fire? Could be a great way for Bruce Sherman to raise some extra money!
