Fan in me: I hate we're trading away Jazz, a very fun player who has superstar potential. A fan favorite, yet again, and this will likely be a trend with the current regime.

 

Engineer [logical] side of me: Include the health thing above. We're getting some players who are ready to come up SOON [Deyvison, Ramirez] and hit well. Waiting for the remainder of the return.

This is not a backup catcher, unless it becomes more than he plays first base a lot and catches sparingly, then yes, backup catcher.

It’s also an older scouting report before he mashed this year. Just being salty. He’s def top 5 in Yankees system at this pt if not top 3
