The Marlins are swinging too agressively. This is a pitcher who has walked 5 in both of his starts and has not yet gotten out of the 3rd inning. And yet of the 8 balls difinitively out of the zone, the Marlins have swing at 3. 2 of those before the 2nd stike in the count.

10 walks and 7 hits coming into the game and we are swinging agressively...

Also, Otto is an elite defender but it’s pretty clear the offense was more lucky than not in the first half

Brandon Compton is absolutely obliterating the competition at AA. He has way too much swing and miss but his numbers are eye-popping.

It’s the angels lol. There’s nothing positive to glean from scoring a run and almost two on Fermin who is not very good and being shut down by klassen and a truly terrible bullpen except for joyce
