Hotcorner
I wasn't sure whether to include the Spanish language guys too, but Felo Ramirez definately needs to be there anyway, he's been there the entire time. If you want to write-in Manolo Alvarez or Luis Quintana or something as your absolute favorite, go ahead & I'll add them to the list. CapeFish
Dave Van Horne is my favorite because I can understand what he says very easily and he has the best homerun call behind the White Sox's "You Can Put it on the Board...Yes!"
DaGreatOne
I dont know its hard to choose. I liked Joe Angel and Tommy Hutton in 1996 and 1997 and I also like Boog on the radio and Len has only been there for a short time so I'll go with Hutton. Marlins2003
I had to say Tommy Hutton because the poll asks to pick one only but to not mention Joe Angel would be unfair. He was great and I'm glad he's behind the mike again, in Baltimore. :thumbup I only wish he were here this season instead of Dave Van Boring :thumbdown

I guess if your a senior citizen you need the slow baseball calls. I also didnt know someone needed to be asleep to understand a baseball call. He is one of baseball's best announcers.
Hotcorner
rofl Ramp.... Hey Cape you're entitled to your opinion though. :thumbup I've always liked O'Brien & Boog & Angel, but my vote was for Hutton. Just an all-around good baseball guy, & his enthusiasm shows. "Mordy! Mordyyyy!" He's a homer, granted.... but he's not an insufferable homer, like some other local broadcasters.
Ramp
speakin of Mordy, I think Im gonna go watch that homer again

Speaking of Joe Angel I liked him more before I found out he used the win column for other teams too. :confused I guess I thought it was for the Marlins only, should have known better. Guest Juanky
I voted for Joe Angel, he is my favorite english announcer. But I didn't see Felo, he is my favorite. Makes every mundane play exciting.

Fish Fillet
Gotta be Boog. Not only for his his keen abilities currently, but just as much because you can tell that he has the talent to become a premier radio guy. He already possesses the ability to interject ancedotes, emotion, the short quip and/or the oddball quote while all the while painting the mental picture. Hard to quantify why I think he's good ans why has so much more potential. Just one of those know it when I hear it kinda things. Not taking anything away from the other guys, but Boog is quality. Too bad he probably won't be around much longer.

WildMarlinMan2003
I'm surprised Dave O'Brien only got 2 votes. Joe Angel was great. He and O'Brien were very entertaining. I can't blame Dave for leaving to do ESPN though.
WildMarlinMan2003
Who voted for VanHorne? Ouch that guy is boring. I have to like him because he's a Marlin, sort of. But we have had a lot better play by play guys than Dave Van Horne.

Shaq-Man
i'd probably go with hutton, with angel a close second. interestingly enough, joe angel is despised in SF. go fig.
