i started winning on pro, so i am stepping up to all star i almost won yesterday, i give it a week and i will be on MVP :thumbup

Wow,even though i barely play the game it'll probably take me about 4 month's to get to all star,gotta gve you prop's kjc.

its hard. real hard.

 

my timing is horrible, a few tips is start pressing X to swing before aiming the analog stick.

 

another thing is try guessing before the 1st and 2nd pitches and only swing if you get the one you want ( Castillo's hot zone is up and center so press the stick up and center BEFORE the pitch incase thats what you get) then just fight off once you get to strike 2.

 

pitching is easy as long as you can keep your timing and work away from hot zones, with 2 strikes on the batter try elevating with heat above the zone or dropping a breaking ball below the zone to get the K.

I don't hit with the strike zone and all that crap,i bat with nothing in the middle.

So far I've played 2 games with the Angels against Seattle and we're 2-0. But I have yet to get a strikeout or a homerun, this game is really tough. I only have it on pro, I can't imagine what it's going to be like on the next highest difficulty level, yikes!

I exchanged my xbox so I had to restart my season :plain And I turned budget on to be a bit more realistic.

 

Here's a tip to get a guy into your budget if you've got nothing to work with. Before you start a dynasty, edit the roster to sign the guy to your team. Save the roster and then when you create a new Dynasty turn the option for default rosters to off. Somehow it works and I've got Urbina and El Dique signed with my D-Rays budget

Josh went 7 innings giving up only a solo homer to Orlando Cabrera

 

Mikey went yard

 

Fox worked a scoreless 8th

for anyone seriously frustrated with ramon not being on the marlins in mvp, you don't have to create him. i was pissed at first, too. then i started to make roster moves and the like all around the league and boy was i surprised when i found mr. ramon castro on the oakland a's. all you've got to do is trade some lowly aa player for castro.

it is too difficult keeping the rosters on these games up to date.

 

I have High Heat 2004 and the rosters have been updated alot since then.

i have spent a good hour getting the rosters up to dat (created Kazuo and Mauer) i had to edit the fake bonds to make him realistic, put some players who are injured in the low minors, release some players (Boone, Henson) and made alot of trades and FA pickups.

 

and its only going to be more stuff once the final rosters get set.

man i just made a couple marlins prospects, and it took forever

 

is there any way to keep them in the minors til i want them to come up?

i agree 100% ... u have to get a siiiick good job and do it on a really bad pitch

I actually find stealing bases to be fairly easy. Maybe because I haven't tried it with anyone other than the two speed demons.

 

These are the things which I find to be a bit flawed...

 

-Too many extra base hits

-The computer leaves their SP in too long

-Not enough walks

-Injuries are too frequent

 

Other than this, the game is awesome, and pretty realistic.

i also find stealing bases pretty easy i'm 42/53 with JP, and 31/45 with Luis
