that hyappenned to me at first, just don't use that swing system thing, just press A

also, if you haven't looked at the tutorials, you should

yeah it is a tough game, I haven't gotten used to the hitting system yet, I'm late on everything, but I've still had close games every time and I've won a couple.

and this is on Pro

Maybe its not that diffcult for me since I had the 2003 version. But if its your first time playing MVP then yeah you need to get the timing down.

I see,and for pitching you just aim with the analog stick(i dont use batting cursor and all that crap)and press the button when the meter reaches the location you want?

I really like the pitch meter and the throw meter for your outfielders, those are two things that I've never seen on a Baseball video game before. I'm starting to warm-up to 'MVP' slowly, I still can't hit a homerun though...I really hate the 'Pure Swing System!' It makes things too hard, you should just swing away and only have to worry about getting your cursor over the ball and getting your timing down like in 'WSB2K'. But in this game you don't even have to worry about a cursor, you just have to worry about your timing, I guess it aims your bat for you automatically? It's such a huge difference to have to adjust to, oh well, gotta get back to playing some more now, LOL! :thumbup

I LOVE this game. The dynasty mode is more addicting than crack. The graphics are out of this world (try playing it in HD on a 65" TV. I have a X-Box btw).

Hitting homers is realistic. I don't find it to be hard at all.

I just lost 3 - 2 on a Aramis Ramirez game winning double in the bottom of the 9th. Pirates vs. Cubs, btw.

I pinched hit Rob Mackowiack for Kip Wells in the top of the 9th. First pitch..... GONE!! Tied it 2 - 2.

What a game. Prior got the win for them, btw.

I just picked up my copy today, and will start playing in a while.

Last time I played video baseball was...RealSports Baseball on the 2600, so it's been a while... :lol

As a huge fan of WSB 2003, I didn't like MVP when I got it but after getting the hang of it its sooo addicting.

i cant stop playing ... im like 12 games into my season

Lowell is sick in the game .... and so is AJ whooohooo

I upgraded from Rookie to Pro and its lightyears difference. If I miss a pitch, forget it...it's in the gap. And my boys can't hit unless the cleanup hitter is up. Heads are going to roll if things don't change... :D
