  1. Considering Pablo is pretty mediocre....I'll take the boost to the offense.
  2. 1B Cooper 2B Arraez SS Jazz 3B Segura Sprinkle in some Wendle, Berti, Groshans
  3. Arraez last season: 65 appearances at 1B 41 apps. at 2B 7 apps. at 3B 38 apps. at DH
  4. Ya....when I went to the game, I went very early because I wanted to catch BP with Ohtani and Trout. When you are looking at the Brightline schedule, they will have a little Marlins logo next to the trains they recommend for Marlins games.
  5. I took the Brightline from WPB down to Marlins Park to see Ohtani play last season. Once you arrive at the Downtown Miami station, there are complementary shuttle vans waiting to drive you to Marlins Park. Then after the game, a charter bus at a designated location will take you back to the Brightline station. Traffic is still an issue, but its a lot easier as a passenger. Overall, it was a smooth experience that I would do again.
  6. Other teams know how clueless Ng and Co. are. They most likely offer ridiculous trades and then stick by them hoping Ng agrees eventually.
  7. One again, Derek Jeter is at the root of this current mess. MLB decided to let him play owner with someone else's money. Then when Jeter's rebuild failed miserably (awful front office hirings, mostly lackluster trades, and inept draft picks) he ran to Sherman to spend for players. When that didn't work, he cried his way back to New York.
  8. Look at the Mariners for instance...they have not broken the bank in free agency, but have a GM who is relentless.
  9. Sherman and Ng are absolute jokes. If you do not have the money to hand out these mega-contracts, then you need to be extremely competent and creative in how you build your team. Sherman and Ng are not that....
  10. Baseball is dead in Miami, and Derek Jeter is the murderer. MLB had a hard on to let thast weasel Jeter play owner with someone else's money. Due to this, the Marlins are now stuck with Bruce Sherman and his 500 miilion dollar net worth (2nd lowest amongst MLB owners). On top of that, Jeter drained the team of major league talent and drafted horrifically. His decisions in the front office and coaching staff were equally horrific.
  11. Only if the Marlins offered him the most money would he consider it. Competitive offer?
  12. Trea Turner absolutely, but I doubt even the SoFla connection is enough to counter how embarrassingly bad and irrelevant the Marlins are.
  13. They really should have moved Pablo while they still could.
  14. Pablo is stinky
  15. Unreal. Absolute shambles.
  16. What a profound bust James Rowson has been.
  17. Five years into the rebuild we have a batting lineup mostly of 31 year olds with no obvious young studs on the way. Unreal how bad Jeter was. We won't like it, but they have no choice but to tear it down again. Remember, we were supposed to be on the Astros rebuilding timeline. Well during that time, the Astros developed Correa, Springer, Bregman, Y. Alvarez, and more. We have Jazz at least I guess.
  18. What wave? It looks like Jeter's draft picks are one bust after another.
  19. Nice finish to that inning Pablo….don’t let them off the hook
  20. It feels like Pablo is awful at putting guys away with 2 strikes
  21. To be fair, it costs money to acquire Major League players.
  22. Going fishing is a lot like watching a marlins game...you are kinda just sitting around hoping for something to happen.
  23. I will be there tonight! Lets go fish
