I feel you. But is it me or is it crazy to draft that many players who play the same position within the first 10 rounds? I get the baseball draft is so different from NBA or NFL, that just confused me.

I respect your opinion man, but I have to disagree. I think a lot of people still are about Tebow, especially in South Florida where there are (unfortunately) a lot of Gator fans. Those people still idiolize Tebow, and if they knew he played for the Marlins, they might actually show up to the ballpark, buy merchandise, etc. After all, Tim Tebow is still a Heisman Trophy Winner who led the Gators to the National Championship. I’m not saying it is going to happen, but would it be such a terrible idea, considering the Marlins have zero chance of making the playoffs this year? ?

This will not be a playoff season, so why don’t the Marlins consider trading an average double A player for Tim Tebow? Yes, it’s a gimmick, but this could be a huge money-making one. Have the Marlins ever heard of “Freedom of the Press”?
