Once he learns to control himself he'll do fine! I think he has potential!! He was lights out a few years ago!! his potential period is over. that's what the young kids have when they first come into the league. he should be established by now, and he's not. he's terrible. yeah koch gets a strike out or a pop out after he allows 2 runs in 1/3 inning.

do you k now how excited the fans get when he makes ONE out? they go NUTS when koch gets a pop fly or a strikeout because they fear they might never see it happen again!

Ok...now what? Penny just gave up 5ER in 5.0IP last night. Result? Loss. Cant blame it on the offense either - eventhough we scored only one run. I am not sure what your point is about ERs vs. ERA. Because ERA IS DETERMINED BY ERs. You cant tell me, or at least reasonably argue, that Penny has been efficient and just losing games because our offense isnt scoring. He is still giving up a lot of runs of late. Like I said, he has been struggling lately and is NOW back to throwing instead of pitching. His command is terrible and when that happens he relies too much on his fastball. So he got beat up. Even if you took the runs away that Penny gave up and left the runs the bullpen gave up, you would still see the Marlins lose those games. I am not expecting Penny to pitch a shut out every night, but look at Pavano and compare him to Penny. You will see what I mean. You all who support this notion that Penny is pitching well are just insane. He is pitching, if you can call it that, terrible. He will snap out of it, I know that. But right now, you cant blame the offense only. The whole team is struggling and is not consistent on EVERY aspect of the game right now. The good news? We are still in first place. And Dawg, Dontrelle, you should both keep quiet before you look even sillier than you already are. :shifty it doesn't matter. the point was the previous 5 games, not what happened yesterday.

If only it was contagious. no way. the internet is evil. i try to GET OUT more. like i went to see them play last week! that's more like it. i'll sacrifice the television and audio games to see them play live! but, i wish mlb had a tv package where you could just order one team, that would be pretty sweet. i don't really want to order that entire package for a whole bunch of other teams that i don't really care for or want to watch play. just the marlins games, or serious divisional rival games.

kanye west & ludacris had a concert here for uconn's spring weekend, and i'll tell you what.. kanye west puts on an awful show. that's for sure. luckily ludacris was there to liven people up. a bunch of drunks couldn't even enjoy kanye west and his regis & jesus lyrics.

eh tickets are real good, between $15-$35.. i went to three games, 20 rows up.. and all mine were $28 a piece so.. i was happy.

yeah but he's just another utility player. wilkerson isn't anything special and someone we'd want for years to come. he's ok, and ok is his best.

yeah i'd definitely take delgado over choi.. (sorry choi fans, i had to!) but delgado, i expect, would want the big $$.. i really don't know what the marlins payroll is.. or who gets paid what right now.. but i really want them to keep the 5 starters, benitez, lowell, cabrera, pierre and castillo i know pierre & castillo can be paid less(er).. with cabrera & lowell bringing in the bigger $$ contracts and then the pitching staff.. which is still very young.. i hope beinfest signs all of them somehow!!

-ing.. of course. you people just jump all over the fact that carl crawford has like 35 sb's, and juan pierre has what, 18-19, as if that's bad or something. juan pierre isn't having a bad season. he is the one marlin batting over .300, as all great lead off men should be able to do, because they need to get on base, which he does. not to mention he usually goes when castillo has a 2-1 count. (go check how many times luis castillo has had a 2-1 count recently, i know in my three games braves series he didn't have a 2-1 count once). i just find it hard to believe, that marlins fans are bringing up juan pierre's name in either being traded, or negativity, or something else not really called for. :thumbdown :mad :
