Luzardo has three years til he's a free agent right? I'm not against trading him 😭 f the price is right but is he really a serious trade candidate right now?

Hail luzardo. Pitching is actually coming around and that's with two of the top three out for the year Feel like maybe Rogers should go to the bullpen for a bit. He's certainly the odd man out of we keep everybody and they are healthy next year.

The X-man cometh
The X-man is currently second on the team in OPS to uber-prospect Timothy Anderson who has achieved the rare feat of having a better season in AAA in one game than anything he has done in a year and a half in the majors. I say we sneak him back up and change his name to Devon Anderson Jr. and see how long it takes for everyone to realize he's not a hot 20 year old prospect. He could be the next Leon Sandcastle.

When your biggest comp is Dollar Store Kahlil Watson, it might be time to pack it in. Only thing missing from Jake can't Rake's resume is the finger guns.

The X-man cometh
Made his season debut with Jacksonville tonight. Went 2-3 and currently sitting at a robust 2.000. Playing second base as well. Could this be the beginning of the fall of the Otto Man Empire?

No matter how bad your day was remember you could be Jacob Berry. Jake unable to rake went 0-4 3 whiffs and committed error number 9. He's slowly sinking to the Mendoza, sic, Bethancourt line.

We definitely need to do us on the draft and international signings. With our budget constraints we need to hit a couple of home runs. Our past failures are a direct correlation to our current problems

Baby fish
Fcl started early this year and the baby fish are 8-1. Lot of decent prospects on the team. They also run like crazy, 8 steals today, which they are doing in Jupiter as well so maybe an organizational philosophical change. One guy who is electric is pitcher Keyner benitez. 17 yrs old and looks like a potential star. His stuff is filthy.

Arraez traded
Nice debut by Dillon head in Jupiter. 3-4 with a triple, 2 swiped bags

Is Jazz still healthy?
Jazz is to MLB as Mario balotelli is to world soccer. Occasional glimpses of greatness but most of the time a clown. Trade him for whatever we can get. He's the whole foods version of Khalil Watson.

Stallings
Batting .330 for Rockies. No issue getting rid of him, he was terrible here. But would be 🙂 ce to have a catcher who can hit his weight

Teoscar is doing well but he is going to decline. 1 yr at 24 mil is not something we are going to do. Just not feasible Sherman or no Sherman. The season was lost when Sandy went down, then the pitching injury dominoes fell. That's when it was time for the future. I don't see why we can't compete next year if our pitching bounces back healthy. Yes we still need bats.

Who exactly did we want to sign? Most were declining assets seeking long term contracts and the ones left over signed rolling opt outs. Would have been nice to sign a catcher that hits and breathes but really who do u guys think we should have signed?

Cabrera to the IL with a shoulder impingement , Braxton off the IL
Was really excited seeing Eddy come up through the ranks. Sadly his control will always be his Waterloo and him coming in to spring training out of shape 😁 and cates the work ethic is not there and he is lazy.

Looks absolutely awful. Completely lost at the plate. Almost like he went to the Christian bethancourt school of hitting. Time to cut bait. What can we get for him at this point? Bag of balls, our favorite cash consideration? Sadly another first round bust.

Good outing by Trevor, he needed that. Bullpen solid going into ninth.

What is Victor's vector?
I hear he likes movies about Gladiators. Just don't tell Kareem Abdul-Jabbar he is soft.

2024 Roster Moves Thread
Marsee leading off in Pensacola, to quote Peter "he gets on base". Martorella batting third for Wahoos, should get reps at 1b. Go is in aaa. Head yet to debut, logically will play for Jupiter

Javier Sanoja
This guy could be our new long-term shortstop. He reminds me of Altuve just a bit, and he is tiny. Doesn't have near the pop but he's played way above his age level every stop so maybe he can develop into the 15-20 range over time. Maybe a bit optimistic on that.

Cabrera to the IL with a shoulder impingement , Braxton off the IL
We all know that almost every pitcher on the staff, the starts at least, far exceeded their career innings limit last year and injuries were almost inevitable. Better to get them out of the way with Sandy out and when everyone is healthy again we should return to a deep pitching staff that is relatively young. If we can find a few gems among the scrap heap of guys like Roddery Munoz, make-believe Tyler, etc. that will give us a few pieces to trade away for the hit side of the equation which is sorely lacking. We are mirroring the Rays, and for the present just about everyone in baseball, with these injuries.

What is Victor's vector?
When Jazz is traded away who takes over in CF? The obvious answer is the prospect with the most upside is Victor Mesa Jr. Currently playing well at AAA at the tender age of 22. All the jokes and memes about Victor Victor when in reality we only signed him to get his younger brother. Is it Mesa time? Tick tock, tick tock.
