I prefered them when they looked like this...
  2. lame. What's lame? What's lame is that the noob roots for the Phillies and the Marlins..... what if i liked the Braves also? :mischief2 then you'd pretty much be a poorer Marlin fan...
  3. -The draft will begin Feb. 13th, 2006 So... did it start already ?
  4. McNair is the man, don't put the last couple seasons and this pro-bowl on his shoulders, the Titans have been in cap hell the last 2 years and have pretty much gotten rid of all their offensive talent. as far as the pro bowl goes, all of the AFC QB's played poorly, hell, Manning threw 3 INT's...
  5. well even if we got to 12 hits this year, with only 1,000-3,000 per game who would notice? it's almost like they did it on purpose so that only 3k a game will show up and he'll " have a reason " for trying to move the team.. hope not, but it seems that way... nice quote in the sig, btw fish :thumbup
  6. :thumbup
  7. okay, interesting... :mischief2 :thumbup
  8. Can you squeeze a few more teams into your signature?? Pick a damn squad Poptart. i was thinking the same....
  9. you dont see Vargas sticking around ?
  10. Petit for Gathright. Do it, do it. that sounds fair..
  11. woohoo, i got in before it closed !
  12. man... i miss those " early day " uniforms.. bring back the teal hat !
  13. Biography: Jason Floyd Stokes in single and resides in Coppell, Texas...Scouted and signed by Bob Laurie (Marlins) out of Coppell High School...Interests include deer hunting. :lol
  14. Olsen shouldn't be traded for Gathright, but I wouldn't be opposed to one of the newly acquired guys to be dealt.
  15. is it going to be in this thread or are you starting a new one ?
  16. yeah, this sounds interesting.. I'd like to join in too...
  17. I still think the Marlins should build their stadium near Okeechobee... that way fans from Ft. Myers could attend games regularly too !
  18. Nobody in Central Florida gives a damn about the Marlins. The only teams that would attract fans would be the Red Sox, Yankees, Cubs, or Braves. I'd love for the Marlins to move up here, but it's too close to Tampa and nobody would give a crap after the original novelty wore off. Everytime I go to a Foot Locker in Orlando I see a bunch of Marlins stuff. Does anyone wear it? Not too often. Then again, I live in a northern suburb of Orlando and rarely see Marlins gear for sale anywhere. It's all of the teams that ESPN pimps and the mindless bandwagoners/transplanted northerners like. I used to live on the border of Sanford/Lake Mary for a little while.. there is WAYYY more Marlins fans in Orlando than D-Rays... When I lived there I saw Marlins stuff everywhere... and alot more Hurricanes stuff for that matter.
  19. i would root for whatever team played in where i live FLORIDA marlins should cover, well.......all of florida! if you are in florida, you have no reason to not be a fish or rays fan f*** the braves, f*** their divison titles, no ones does that well to accomplish so little without selling themselves to the devil a very large majority of Floridians are from places like New York, Illinois, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and all of New England... they've been Yankee, Met, Red Sox, Braves, Cubs, and Phillies fans for years.. why would they give up their loyalties to their teams ? wouldn't that make them bad fans ?
  20. it would be alot more fun to watch the kids develope if we knew for sure that they'd be here in 3 years.. or that the Marlins will be here in 3 years that is...
  21. 2006: Prelude to Charlotte.
  22. Tires that spin are better than ones that are flat, Mr. I Can Run A MLB Front Office On Pennies. When you're drawing as little revenue - as MLB, Loria and every Marlins owner, Forbes and most members of the media - contest the Marlins are, of course they're running operating losses. The Devil Rays don't have losses, but then again, they have a payroll of 20 Million compared to ours of 50.
  23. very nice, congrats on getting the ring, I wish I could have afforded it.
