December 27, 200520 yr The Marlins have had 4 winning seasons in 13 years... The Braves have 14 straight division titles... Putting your bias away, who would you rather be a diehard fan for?? The team who has 1 title and 14 straight playoff appearances or the team with 2 titles in their only playoff appearances??
December 27, 200520 yr 1997 and 2003 by far make up for the bad seasons. 14 straight division titles wouldn't be a bad consolation though
December 27, 200520 yr No offense, but this is a pretty dumb question. How do you put your "bias" aside? People have different reasons why they cheer for different teams.
December 27, 200520 yr hmm, ill go braves, we have no chance or.... not.... Your not gonna find a single braves vote here IMO, MAYBE on the MLB board... but i dont remember seeing ANY braves fans roaming the boards.. go fish..
December 27, 200520 yr I'd rather be a Marlins fan than a Braves fan. The Braves are nothing but choke artists.
December 27, 200520 yr I'm not a fan based on the success of my team. Anyone who likes a team just because they are good is shallow.
December 27, 200520 yr I'm a Marlins fan I can't and won't put my bias aside because i wouldn't be a true Marlins fan any more... next question, next pointless question. :banghead :banghead :banghead
December 27, 200520 yr No offense jsprt05, but between this thread and your "better one year wonder Pudge or Delgado" thread, i'm not really too sure what to say......
December 27, 200520 yr Author screw you guys... No one else starts any topics that aren't based on articles so I thought I would

December 27, 200520 yr screw you guys... No one else starts any topics that aren't based on articles so I thought I would hes right... personally i like to read what the fans say... i mean this is a fan website...the articles get old because most of us read them already in other places.

December 27, 200520 yr The reason I am a Marlins fan is because there are too many damn Braves fans to begin with around here. I hate to be part of the crowd.
December 27, 200520 yr Ill definitely take the 2 rings over countless post season meltdowns. Yeah lets not kill the guy for starting a thread.....The Pudge/Delgado thread was better than this one but at least he's trying during the December doldrums.
December 27, 200520 yr Who decides who to root for by wins and losses? I root for the name on the front of the Jersey...some unfortunately root for the names on the back...and now you raise the suggestion to root for the numbers in the standings. :chair
December 27, 200520 yr MARLINS FOREVER, I can't put my bias aside it sticks to me, it's in my blood, I bleed teal! We play for the title, not the division baby. Braves are winners for 14 straight seasons but really losers cause they settle for the damn division, we play to win the World Series, period!
December 27, 200520 yr I think your average northern or central Floridian would draw more toward a team in Atlanta than one in Miami.
December 28, 200520 yr I think your average northern or central Floridian would draw more toward a team in Atlanta than one in Miami. That's why you live in the beltway
December 28, 200520 yr i would root for whatever team played in where i live FLORIDA marlins should cover, well.......all of florida! if you are in florida, you have no reason to not be a fish or rays fan f*** the braves, f*** their divison titles, no ones does that well to accomplish so little without selling themselves to the devil
