Cishek Rauch Webb Dunn Ramos Lara/Jennings Qualls Mid-season: Cishek Rauch Eovaldi Dunn Ramos Lara/Jennings Webb [Assuming Fernandez gets called up or something, Eovaldi to the pen] Also, imagine this: Ramos/Eovaldi 7th Rauch 8th Cishek 9th Not that they'd face the same hitters, but the eye level change would be drastic. [5'11/6'2 to 6'11 to 6'6 sidearming] Why is it that Eovaldi gets pushed to the pen? We don't even have a 5th starter right now.

I actually kind of agree with the Marlins' strategy of showing interest in these pitchers with past major league success. If they don't perform, oh well, expectations for this season are fairly low anyways. If we do get any semblance of production out of them, we can flip them for a prospect at the deadline.

I'm pretty sure mlbtraderumors said he didn't play at all in 2012, but don't think they stated a reason.

It seems awful funny that he writes in his article that the Marlins have contacted not only the Padres, but other teams as well. Yet, not a single other team's beat reporter has been able to pick this up yet. He must have sources inside other team's front offices as well as the Padres.

Where did these reports of the marlins contacting other teams come from? Does anyone have a link?

Our seats are in the first row behind the fence down the right field line, right next to Giancarlo Stanton and the Marlins bullpen. Has anyone ever been to this stadium before? Just wondering what my odds of getting shanked are. I will try to take a few pictures to post.

Cousins looks like he really wants a full time job with the Fish I think he's been 0'fer in his other games so far this spring...dude needs to step it up consistently...kearns has been hitting in every game

Just got home for the day and realized he didn't play in either game. Couple that with the fact that he was removed from last night's game early on, and you've got me curious. Then add in the fact that the other CF candidates in camp (Petersen, Coghlan, and Yelich) have been getting time in LF and not in CF makes me think he's not healthy and we're looking at alternatives. I didn't remember reading anywhere where he was going to be given days off.
