Gam-Man is saying the braves are pushing for VLAD and J.Vasquez. This is getting silly. thats crazy ... this is getting just out of hand. I mean all of sudden A-rod and Vlad are on the market, who knows who will be next?

Marlins getting A-Rod is as likely to happen as the marlins getting Vlad Guerrero! WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

cabs is doing great, he would stay there no matter what. Whether we get drew or not.

Drew is not a bench player i agree, but he has only i think 70 games this year, cause he can't last a full season, and in a marlins situation he should be a bench player for one year only, and in case Encarnacion is more injured that appears to be or Juan continues to bat poorly, drew would fill in then.

Get Drew .... and keep Cabs in LF. Drew comes in and provides insurance in case Encarnacion or Cabs start to play bad or get injured. Like tonight instead of banks in RF it would have been Drew. You can't tell me you would rather have banks than drew in RF! Drew would improve the bench tremedously, by providing insurance for player like cabs, encarnacion, even lowell ( if lowell needs a day off for the injury he is playing with then cabs could play 3B and Drew could be in LF). Its not like drew can demand to be a starter, he has proven that he can't last as a starter, for now, off the bench for him is a good situation. That trade would be great if it happens!!

he would cost $4mil+ in arb next year..... same probably goes for Enc too(maybe a little less) this is true and that is why getting drew is a great move. This year he would fit perfect on bench unless cabs or encarnacion starts to play bad, he serves as great insurance for them. Then next year for similar price tags i would rather have JD in right, especially if encarnacion continues on his hitting slump.

Bring on Drew. He would be a great addition, he would be insurance for both Cabrera and Encarnacion, if they start to slow down... he would provide Lowell with relief cause then we can play Cabs at third and Drew at LF. Provides us with left-handed hitting... and from the stats i saw, not sure if they were current, drew is hitting real well with men in scoring position. If the marlins can get both Drew and Sullivan that would great.

Another power bat would not hurt. But its not neccesary, therefore if it can't come real cheap don't go after another bat. Stick with going out and getting more relief pitching... you can never have enough pitching.

the way Cabs is hitting i wouldnt want another LF i'll rather get Scott , but i would also like the Marlins to get Scott and Rondell , and White can be in th beach and let Cabs and Rondell fight for LF.. so give up our future catcher for a player that will be on the bench?? I like the idea of getting another OF as insurance for Cabrera, but not at the cost of our future catcher. I say go after another OF/1B that won't cost such an important prospect, but could provide insurance for both Cabrera and Lee, if his injury proves to be more than it seems. Maybe someone like Stairs, any other suggestions??

if the marlins can trade to get Conine without trading D.Lee it would be a great addition. Conine could play LF for the remainder of the season and as far as PR the addition of Mr. Marlin would be great. Conine also provides the marlins with another hitter, a hitter than can and does produce RBI's. anyone think of a trade for conine that does not invovle a Lee?

i agree... i think the idea of having jeff conine in LF this year and having D Lee at 1B this year woukd be great. Lee is going to having a great second half year, like he usually does, and with Conine in LF the marlins will have another bat to drive in runs. Move Cabrera to the bench or to AAA so he can become a better LF. Also as for PR, getting Conine would be great. Fans are already excited about the move to urbina, imagine how excited fans would get if Mr. Marlin came home.
