im a fan of the team no matter who they get or lose.

T. Owens
Roberson is not an NFL QB... Manning and Rothlesberger are top 10 picks so forget them. late first early 2nd makes me think Phillip Rivers...

Back-up Utility INF?
Carlos Baerga.... I like that idea, but how good is he defensively? Baerga is signed by the Snakes for the 04 season. NEXT!

Redman
that was for free agents not offered Arbritration. players who the team owns the rights to can non tender then bid along with the rest of the teams in the league. much like the Marlins can still make Loop and Borland offers if they really want to ( not likely ) hope that explains

AJ in 2004
nobody who knows anything about the TJ surgery would expect a player to be a "horse" in the first year back. again to simplify incase Wild Card confused anyone: judging by his projected return date of late may early june ( knowing AJ he will be ready in april ) lets just say 20 starts for the 04 season and using my goal of 135 innings that would average out to over 6 innings per start as long as he manages his pitch counts and has no setbacks he will gain the strength for a great 2005.

dissapointing off-season
i think most are judging our moves to the moves of the Phillies Yankees and Red Sox aka BIG MARKETS! wake up. we are a small market team. Beinfest is doing what he can to keep us away from "bad contracts" yes D Lee is a good player but not a 7 million dollar player, yes looper is a good player but not a 4 million dollar player... small ball :lol

AJ in 2004
just instead of going 7-8-9 innings like he did in the past now he will be a 5-6 inning pitcher. and thats not bad... And that's just for 2004. He'll get back to his 7-9 IP status in 2005. josh again stating the obvious. exactly

dissapointing off-season
who cares? lets say they made a bunch of horrible deals ( which they DIDNT ) i wouldnt give a crap, you know why? im a fan of the team. most fans dealt with the 98-2000 era of Marlins baseball if you did too then you would know this team is not a bad one and will contend.

AJ in 2004
the most important thing is not having setbacks and getting use to pitching every few days.just instead of going 7-8-9 innings like he did in the past now he will be a 5-6 inning pitcher. and thats not bad...

AJ in 2004
