hey guys, looks like it's time to beat the mets again. hope they had some karo syrup before the game...willie harris' clear of choice. and harris and the great jackie hail from the same town, cairo, ga. i guess they both like karo syrup...and so does this guy.

stern kinda creeps me out. the cable deal and some other things make me say that he isn't doing too great of a job. he's more like judge and jury for the sport. goodell is really cracking down on the sport, i think he's doing a good job now, but it's too early. bettman sucks, nhl is getting to be a niche sport in america. bud, blah. i would either say bud or goodell, advantage to roger for now.

for those that missed it, the braves were up 7-3 to start the ninth, then the mets came within one to make the game 7-6 with one out. delgado up, hits another sure fire homer... then willie harris robs him of the game tying homer on the wall and saves the game for the braves and perhaps the season, and get by, 7-6. we need to keep harris. and also, he's from cairo, ga, the same hometown as jackie robinson. there's got to be something in that town, and in new york of all places. :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

we just got rid of what was the worst pitcher in the nl for dotel and in his very first start for the royals, gives up a three run dinger to arod for #500. shows that kyle davies is still quite awful. he's also losing 4-0 to the yankees.

nice, but a few minor problems. 1. i would think people in new orleans would be braves fans, not astros fans. houston and new orleans don't really get along... 2. people in b.c. consider themselves to be mariners fans, so i would cover that as well. 3. palm beach county should be labeled mets/yankees somewhere. 1. No, New Orleans is solidly Astros country. Braves don't air games there, Astros do on FSN Houston & WUPL-TV 54. 2. British Columbia is in Mariners territory (and gets telecasts from the M's on Rogers SportsNet Pacific) along with the Toronto Blue Jays. 3. Palm Beach County is Marlins Country. if you listened to evan cohen, you would think otherwise on #3. lots of mets/yankees fans down here due to the noo yawk influx.

I'm getting so tired of ESPN its not even funny, just report the sports and show the highlights. This past month has been a joke for their station. First it was leading off SportsCenter with Paris Hilton being thrown back in jail, then its the stupidity of the "Who's Now?" and now quite possibly the most idiotic list of all time with this crap. ESPN is going "Hollywood" and it sucks. me too. espn is more focused on their celebrity stories and other junk that the sports actually is put behind. i didn't watch espn for stories about hilton, if i wanted that, i would watch extra or another gossip show. we have enough of those shows already. i turned off espn years ago expect for ath, pti and games (sometimes sc if they have something really interesting). and btw, why is the roider merriman on the list? he cheated and failed a drug test (something bonds has yet to do).

i've watched the whole season. i love the chef, he looks like woody paige...related?

i hear the trade is a no go...

but there's another one in the south atlantic that could be something to watch for in the next few days.
