buddy has just come out of nowhere and just had another great outing today, 8 innings, only one run on four hits. this guy has saved our rotation which was looking awfully bad after hampton got hurt and redman busted. i'm liking this guy more and more every start. now 4-2 with a 4 era. not bad for a guy who was in korea last year.

that game is also on wgn for those unable to watch the game with rich and tommy.

Looooooooooooove Colin...I think my station is going to air the Herd instead of DP when he leaves. while on the subject of affiliates, you think some of the bigger affiliates (la, ny, chicago) will air their own local show in dan's slot? i can see that happening, at least on a few stations. btw, what are the big three's current 1-4 et slots look like?

dan patrick's show is very low on my must listen to list. it used to be further up, but since dibble and salusbury left the show, it hasn't been the same. i guess this was the big announcement. espn radio still is decent, cowherd best show ever, many clips of his rants on youtube put into pics, including the infamous "u of virginia is whimpy" segment. mike and mike, also good. but espn tv, blah. bad.

ugh. i guess the studios are just looking for a quick buck now for the most part (few exceptions, pixar). slap a franchise tag and make it suck and make a profit. it's probably going to suck anyway. the image is so wrong, the chipmunks were about half dave's height in the tv show, and at least somewhat fitted into the human world.

atlanta and chicago are also decent places to go. atlanta has cnn and chicago has some big media outlets if new york doesn't work out.

actually, i would take one more step and have their bbtn rights given to tbs to do a nightly highlight show starting next year. please tbs, pull this off!! no more nespn biased coverage.

no reservations sounds like a good chick flick. and i thought the sunshine preview gave too much away. instead of waiting for pay-per-view, i'll just wait till it comes on tv (should be within 1-2 years on sci-fi.)

strike zone contest- pitchers try to throw as many balls in the strike zone in 2 minutes. extra fun would be that they would have to hit it in a certain area of the strikezone. or something similar to the mvp05 batting contest...have tractors with targets, trying to aim for certain positions on the field, some can move, others won't. wiki it if you don't know about this. also, speed throws from different positions on the field, 3rd to first, etc.

good skip caray- i'm a braves fan what do you expect? he's funny, witty (you needed that watching all those years of braves baseball) and he knows what he's talking about. he makes a braves game so much better. pete van wiren- it's a shame he's off the tv, he's a good announcer as well. he's like an almanac of baseball info. len kasper- he's a great broadcaster, and vastly forgotten, partly due to his awful partner bob brenly. he's enjoyable to listen to and he's done his homework. he's a bit of a cubs homer, an improvement to chip caray and steve stone. rich waltz and tommy hutton- great pair, one of the better guys on tv, they have great chemistry and they are enjoyable, expect for the times hutton goes hawk like last saturday's game, plus he hates the braves. matt vasgergian- he's good, like him when he screams at calls, and they keep it professional. also underrated, despite some complaints of him going off topic alot. bad chip caray- awful. worst mistake tbs made was making him the play by play guy for all their telecasts. he talks too much, and alot of times rambles on about nothing, for example, spent two innings talking about the marlins stadium situation, and things we already know. i actually had to mute chip last night because he was just so annoying. although skip and chip games can be somewhat tolerable due to skip. dwayne staats- very, very boring. makes me want to go to sleep. joe buck- see chip caray. used to be decent. bob brenly- ugh, it seems like every telecast, he has to talk bad about the braves in some way or form. lately, it's been about bobby's ejection record. just because you no hit us as a manager doesn't give you a license to bash us all the time. and he's not that good either. i tried to like him, but it's not working. hawk and dj- extreme homerism here. sometimes tommy reaches this area, but i hope not, otherwise i'll put them on this list. tim mccarver- enough said about him too. steve lyons- another terrible fox loser. he stinks, and just annoys me to death.

i'll wait until sunshine gets to pay-per-view, but it looks interesting. of course i'll see wall-e, pixar stuff is always good quality.

is it just me, or does the marlins own peavy? You going for the pads today? Frankly, these threads have felt empty since you left after the Braves series. i like the padres, especially my boys gilly and peavy. :kiss i won't be as annoying though, since i just like peavy and hope the padres climb ahead of the bums tonight.
