  1. I swear to God, I'm going to hurt someone if all I have this spring is f***ing college basketball. PANTHERS HOCKEY: GET PUCKED UP!
  2. Man, Everyday Clay throws some sick stuff as a reliever. His ERA as a reliever was 3.05 before this inning and that solidified it.
  3. The Badenhop game. The Infante slide game was pretty cool too, but definitely not as awesome as the Badenhop game. This has to be the answer. The Hopper game was when everything was going well, we were playing .600 baseball, and it seemed like we were on the way to a dream season...
  4. I was watching FIU defeat some other Florida school. Voly was good?
  5. THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT THE CAGE, BABY! I really hope our defense continues on this tear... you can't not rank us if we continue to not allow a TD. Sure, we've faced three different opponents of all calibers... but we've also done the only thing a perfect defense can do... not allow points. Got a little ahead of yaself there, ey?
  6. 2007 was great! Year of the Mi-Train!
  7. Rock, Cena, Punk, Orton, Sheamus v (New World Degeneration Order) HHH, Nash, HBK, X-Pac, Hogan Just 1 ridiculous rumour circulating about the potential participants in the Survivor Series bout Hogan's kinda under contact with the "competition".
  8. the guys on the sportslogos forums are saying black will be very prevalent, which I hadn't read anywhere until just now. the mental picture I'm conjuring up just keeps getting uglier and uglier. That's because there are 600 people saying 600 different things. I've specifically seen the guys on CC say that there is like NO black. I'm convinced at least 50% of the stuff on there is bulls***, if not much more.
  9. Kershaw basically says he's going to hit Parra, then pitches incredibly well, waits until it becomes an official game so he could get the win, and hits his first batter in the second half in a game (and year) where he's had pinpoint accuracy and it just HAPPENS to be Parra, the guy he threatened. It's ridiculous to me that Kershaw was angry or surprised he was tossed.
  10. There is zero way he wins this, I think. It doesn't help that his case was "But it couldn't have been the fact that I was playing like sh*t, it had to be that I was acting like an ass!"
  11. Here it is: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h2MmD-mKH4 What the hell? I thought this was a baseball park not the state fair. Yeah. This is almost as ridiculous as one of the main components of the ballpark being a Build-A-Bear...
  12. I would like to remind all the UM fans that FIU now has 2 wins while UM has to start skipping over games on the schedule when looking for their first possible win. I just like FIU.
  13. Quite honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. They aren't leaving town. This isn't the last game at Fenway Park or a historic stadium. They are leaving a football stadium that was usually 80% empty for most games and it wasn't even theirs. The last game should be a celebration because now they'll have their own stadium, which will be one of the best in the league. Because it's the last game of the Florida Marlins and the stadium, which wasn't theirs, still held some amazing memories. To each his own. Its the last game of the season in a crappy stadium. I'd rather spend the Sunday watching the NFL than watching the a team that is 30 games out of first place. I will be very excited for the opener next April. It's a Wednesday.
  14. I saw it last night watching NXT. Shades of the Great Muta. It's a little busy, but definitely an upgrade. Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking with Muta. Also, wasn't it weird as hell seeing him come out with that gimmick and his old music? That couldn't have clashed more.
  15. BTW, has anyone seen Yoshi Tatsu's new gimmick/style? They still need new music to match it but it looks pretty cool.

  17. It's a work, I'm betting myself on it.
  18. Mike Piazza is showing up? That's a little weird.
  19. Sad. Almost collected the second installment of "Watch Nyger get crushed by a first baseman".
  20. I don't know how you know that... Actually, checking it now, I was just off. In parenthesis is numbers of games played as a Fish. Bill Hurst - 1996 (2) Michael Neu - 2004 (1) Jeff Fulchino - 2006 (1) (Played in JRS as an Astro) Nate Field - 2007 (1) John Gall - 2007 (3) (Played in JRS as Red) Jai Miller - 2008 (1) James Houser - 2010 (1) Elih Villanueva - 2011 (1) That makes it 6 people to play for the Marlins but never play at JRS.
  21. But Rab, I gotta ask... what did u mean by the 5 Marlins who never got a chance? 5 people have played baseball for the Florida Marlins but have never played in JRS (as Marlins).
  22. I feel like some of you don't understand why this game is important to some of us. It's not just the final game of a bad stadium, it's the final game of the Florida Marlins. It's the final game of the teal. The final game of the formerly-Teal-Monster. The final game of Gonzo's corner and of the spot where Counsell scored, where Miggie hit his walkoff, where Pudge held onto the ball, where Livan got a called final strike and Hough got a called first strike. We're saying goodbye to where Leiter and Anibal were amazing. We're saying goodbye to where Livan told us all he loved us. We're saying goodbye to where 398 players wore "Marlins" on their chest and an F on their cap (and to where 5 Marlins never got a chance). I mean, at least that's why I'm going.
  23. My last game in Section 126, Row 3, Seat 6.
  24. I still haven't eaten. All for what's sure to be a loss.
