Replay in baseball
The Good Doctor is exactly right. Why does it matter if it was a HR or a nubber to the 3B? Regardless, it could cost a team the game. I actually think we should do this in increments. HR's were the first. Next, we should go for all scoring plays and then we'll go on from there. And as far as how, I think having a 5th ump in a replay booth (like the NFL) or a centralized replay facility in NYC (like the NHL) would be the best options. Why we have to have our four umps gather together, talk for a minute, and then shuffle off to some back room where they can then ask for the replays when there can be a guy who is live and ready to do this, I don't know.

After going 2-2 to get to .200, he's gone 0-6 to drop back under.

Your first car
A ridiculously modified 1988 BMW 325i convertible. The only thing '88 about it was the chassis inside paneling. The previous owner had added a body kit and the car was stolen and stripped. My father and I basically built it up over 2-3 years. The only picture I have on my is this one:

Summer of Punk II is fully underway! On one hand I also wanted him to be gone longer, but in this day and age 8 days felt like 3 weeks. Also, am I the only one that noticed that Cena's belt is not the spinner belt? I haven't really seen anyone mention it anywhere. The new belt has a similar design but is way thinner.

Pet Peeves.
Girls who pick out/buy a wedding dress or engagement ring before the guy proposes. I have no problem with the girl (or more directly, my fiancee) telling me what kind of ring she wants.

Burt Blyleven is officially in the HOF
We used to debate Rice's status here all the time before he was inducted. Rice is probably the most questionable inductee of the last 10 years or so. I still contend that if he weren't a career Red Sox player, he wouldn't have gotten in. For two reasons, one being the media market and one being the monster. Though I think that he wouldn't have been in the HOF if he was a Yankee. He owes so much to that big green wall.

Burt Blyleven is officially in the HOF
He was certainly a crap OF, but of all the questionable Hall of Fame folks, he seems odd to call out. Really? There were like 1000 articles about how he didn't belong in the HOF when he went into the HOF a couple years back.

Burt Blyleven is officially in the HOF
He was in the top 10 for BA 6 times, the top ten OBP twice, SLG 8 times (leading twice), OPS 6 times (leading twice). He led the league in HRs and RBIs in various years and won the MVP. He had a career .854 OPS. Jim Rice drastically fell off after 33 years old but he had a Hall of Fame run of 12 seasons or so. There are actually stupid choices in the HoF, Rice just isn't one of them. Jim Rice has the 31st best OPS+ of any LFer, just behind Moises Alou. He had the 70th best OBP, just behind Bob Bescher. And those guys didn't get to be a right handed hitter at Fenway (he only hit .277/.330/.459 away from Boston). He only had 4 or 5 really special seasons and he didn't play for all that long. Unless you're a special case (going off to war or coming to the US at 27), that's just not enough to be a solid HOFer. And it's not worth mentioning that he was a butcher even for a LFer manning some of the smallest LF real estate in the game.

Burt Blyleven is officially in the HOF
What's wrong with Rice being in? He's not good enough to be there; It's not the Hall of Really Good.

And now things are right with the world (though Jim Rice is still in there).

Conine would trade Hanley
I don't think its that stupid. Hanley certainly has a lot of talent, but it concerns me that he has yet to reach the level where many people predicted he would end up. He may never reach that level. I'm talking about hall of fame, one of the best players ever level that he was hyped to be. Hanley has better numbers at this point in his career than Derek Jeter did.

What options besides Volstad do we have?
JJ should be coming back some day in the future, we can ship Volstad off then.

Who does Wes Helms think he is?
I think it says something that he barely plays anymore.

I don't know but I'll get it when it comes out. I'll hang to old one up or something.

Who does Wes Helms think he is?
Coming from him, given what he does on the team, it's so far beyond comical that he would say it. There's an awe inspiring lack of self-awareness with this player. He's not criticizing Hanley's talent, though. It's his attitude. Despite how much Helms sucks, he handles himself much more properly than Hanley, I'm sure. Like a professional :mischief . it is unprofessional to criticize and call out another player, especially when he is playing well now. acting like a professional from the bench doesnt do much. There is also something called constructive criticism. In order to make it past high school baseball, you have to be able to handle constructive criticism. He isn't criticizing his play, swing, or even defense. He's whining about mannerisms. People are different but everyone wants Hanley to fit into this stupid mold. Get over it. Is he really hurting your feeling by holding onto a bat for 3 seconds? Funnily enough, it went without notice that he stopped doing that "bat pose" for a while this season while trying to work sh*t out. Eventually, the coaches told him he had to start doing it again, because it's part of his swinging motion. He's been ridiculous since he brought it back.

I thoroughly enjoyed that PPV. Fantastic ending! Only gripe I have is Daniel Bryan winning the Smackdown MITB - I'm not too keen on him tbh. You're not too keen on the greatest wrestler in the world. Tbh, it's that horrible theme music and ring entrance that annoys me. Also, if they were to repackage him as a no-nonsense heel I think I would appreciate him more, rather than his quiet, good guy current image. You're the worst.
