FishFan88
My current seats are on the first base line, upper deck at joe robbie. Where does everyone plan/want to sit in the new park? And will there ever be a game where we have a forum "meet up" in a certain seating section? Ive been apart of one or two of these internet meetups and they can go either way but i feel like MB.com is a pretty polite place..we'd definitely have a good time. So, where you wanna sit? I for one wanna make a move to the third base line to see the home dugout plus miami skyline...but my dad who i go to games with is a staunch supporter of first base line baseball. Our dugout is on the 3B side so where you arer sitting now looks right into it. And you should be able to see the skyline.

I guess you didn't see what I posted on the other thread in which you mentioned the home dugout: Home dugout is going to be on the 3B side. As opposed to the 1B side at Sun. Why? It was supposedly a matter of design issues -- where they had room to put stuff like the larger and better home clubhouse, training rooms, food prep area, hitting area, etc., or so they say. Apparently there is more room under the stands on the North side than the West side. Doesn't make a lot of sense since they were designing from scratch and should be able to put things wherever they want, although I'm sure there were design issues I'm not aware of. Regardless of the reasons, the home dugout will be on the 3B side and if you want a direct view into the home dugout, you're not gonna get it on the 3B line. The 1B side also has a better, more direct skyline view. By sheer luck of the stadium-design draw, your father wins on both points. Not that you have any choice, but go with it, you wind up with both your desired views. In fact, if you point this 3B/1B dugout stuff out to him, he might think that you're more well-informed than you actually were. :lol
Entendu
I always sit in right field. Wherever I deem the price to be reasonable.

GoFishGoMs628
I've always liked the 3rd base line at any ball park, so probably over there hopefully I get an internship in Florida and not Virginia.
BroncoBob27
Left center porch is gearing up to be a great place to watch a game. We (friends and us) were going to get "comparable" seating, right center field. But we wanted to get the full experience without having to twist and turn. Out of town scoreboard, the downtown view, the home run display, the big screen, etc... So we opted for 305, row 1, seats 1-4. Time will tell if that was the right decision. Admin
So we opted for 305, row 1, seats 1-4. Time will tell if that was the right decision. View seems pretty good from there on the 3D view, I'm sure you'll like them.

These just seemed to be what we were looking for and at a reasonable price. At the time we were all still a little ticked off at Samson for telling us that "comparable seating will be about 15-20% more at the new place." Paraphrasing but accurate quote from him at the Holiday Party that year. Actually it was 200-300% more. But because they were limited view of the amenities it really didn't matter after all. One thing that will suck is not being around the other season ticket holders and "weekend warriors" we have become good friends with over the years. Everyone is pretty much spread out in the new place.

SkyJuice
Man, I am planning on flying over from here in The Bahamas for opening day... it's going to be hard as hell for me to choose a seat, although I have come to love sitting out in left/right field... nothing like heckling an opposing outfielder! MiamiSpartan
I love the upper deck seats behind 1st & 3rd and frankly the home run porch looks pretty great too
FishFan88
Ive sat upper deck for years because of the nice breeze once the sun goes down but i wonder if the AC will have an impact on that logic..And i wonder if the AC will hold up once the house is full. babaru
Left center porch is gearing up to be a great place to watch a game. That's what I'm hoping is available when they start offering flex plans, I might even go for a half-season if the price is right.

Probably will be just fine, but scientifically, warm air rises.
