  1. yes, I have heard of the term but the entire point of Ginn and Juice went over your head or something Oh, I got that. My point was that we didn't need to wait for him to do the "Ginn and Juice" thing.
  2. Dolphins need to draft Isaiah Williams, QB from Illinois think about it... I hope you're joking. I figured I let this sit long enough... Ginn and Juice imagine the possibilities! We don't need Williams for that. :whistle in order to have Ginn and Juice they would yes, need Isaiah Williams... I have no clue what steroids has to do with a drink, unless you are suggesting "juice" is steroids You've never heard of the terms "Juice" or "Juiced" in that context before? :mis2
  3. Thanks for piling on to a simple mistake, Orlando Rays. :thumbup We aim to please. :mischief Seriously, I was stating an opinion on who I thought was to blame. The piling on was inadvertent.
  4. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,302656,00.html A Syrian official has, perhaps inadvertently, confessed that the strike Israel conducted in his country was indeed against a nuclear program. He made a statement that tried to claim that Israel is an exporter of "weapons of mass destruction". However, he stated that "it had taken action against nuclear facilities, including the 6 July attack in Syria." Whoops. "One U.S. delegate told colleagues he could not believe his ears when the Syrian diplomat made his statement." "Syria already has disowned the remarks, adding 'such facilities do not exist in Syria.'" Of course they don't exist anymore. Israel destroyed them!
  5. If they're eliminated tonight, Red Sox Nation should be calling for Francona's head. If they're eliminated tomorrow night, Red Sox Nation should be calling for Schilling's head. :mischief
  6. Not criticizing the messenger, I'm criticizing the message. It's silly to think Nebraska is that bad. I know you're not. As I said, it's more an expression of the moment, not the team as a whole.
  7. I like how a 4-3 Nebraska team is supposed to be the #115 team in the country, yet Notre Dame is no where in sight on that list http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?page=bottom10077 Typically a better team that is seen to take a perceivably huge fall (such as Nebraska's second 15+ point home loss in a year) is sometimes mixed into the Bottom 10. For example, last week they threw in USC for losing to Stanford at home.
  8. Either a light rail circular line or some sort of dedicated bus rapid transit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_rapid_transit
  9. ESPN's Bottom 10 after Week 7 (Theme: Led Zepellin songs) 1. FIU 0-6 ("The Song Remains The Same") 2. Utah State 0-6 ("Your Time Is Gonna Come") 3. Colorado State 0-6 ("Good Times Bad Times") 4. Marshall 0-6 ("Whole Lotta Love") 5. Nebraska 4-3 ("Dazed And Confused") 6. Idaho 1-6 ("Stairway To Heaven") 7. Northern Illinois 1-6 ("Black Dog") 8. Iowa State 1-6 ("You Shook Me") 9. U-L U-Pick 'em (La-Monroe and La-Lafayette) 2-11 ("I Can't Quit You, Baby") 10. Syracuse 1-6 ("Communication Breakdown")
  10. Star Trek isn't about wars, though. There are plenty of other science fiction epics (see: Star Wars) that deal with large conflicts. I think that's why they ended up ruining the franchise: they made DS9 about a war.
  11. Got rid of my Gixxer for a new 2008 Ducati 1098. There's simply nothing like a Ducati and the 1098 is absolutely incredible. There are only three words to describe this machine: Sex On Wheels. It's Amazin' With the blink of an eye, you finally see the light Ohh, It's Amazin' When the moment arrives, that you know you'll be alright Yeah, It's Amazin' And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desparate hearts tonight
  12. The Sox wouldn't be in this position if Curt Schilling actually practiced before Game 2 instead of dicking around at the Sons of Sam Horn.
  13. Dolphins need to draft Isaiah Williams, QB from Illinois think about it... I hope you're joking. I figured I let this sit long enough... Ginn and Juice imagine the possibilities! We don't need Williams for that. :whistle
  14. Byrd got out of the first in 8 pitches. 1-pitch groundout 5-3, 3-pitch flyout 8, 4-pitch called K of Papi. Not a good sign.
  15. Roger Federer makes Tiger Woods nervous. Pictures later when I get my HDTV tuner back working.
  16. london was one of the first franchises to die in NFLE - there is very little interest of knowledge of the game over there by the natives While London was one of the first franchises to die, apparently there is at least novelty interest in the NFL. Supposedly, 95,000 tickets have been sold for the Dolphins/Giants game at Wembley. That being said, holding the Super Bowl outside the United States is kinda dumb. That'd be like the Australian Football League holding its Grand Final in the Citrus Bowl. (Not that Aussie Rules can be played in a standard American stadium anyhow...) ...i say have half the exhibition games in other countries (leaving one home and away game for every team).... :thumbup
  17. I was going to see this movie with Matt Damon as Captain Kirk, now I won't even bother. There's no way in hell this movie will do the original Star Trek justice, it's just a lame attempt to keep making money of a series that hasn't produced any quality material since First Contact. I will not sacrifice the franchise. We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They infringe on the integrity of the original series we fall back. They recast the entire crew and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done. Suit yourself, Picard. I'll be in the movie theater on December 25, 2008.
  18. Miami will beat New England on Sunday. And no, I have absolutely nothing to back that claim up. Sometimes all you need is faith.
  19. The government needs to pay for campaigns, and campaign length needs to be limited by statute. In other years, people run for executive positions for a few months. Here, we've been running since the last election.
  20. There are reasons we have the death penalty: Mark Dean Schwab, John Couey, Harrel Braddy...
  21. Arizona New Orleans Baltimore New England Giants Tampa Bay Tennessee Oakland NY Jets Philadelphia Dallas Seattle Pittsburgh Jacksonville 6-8
  22. Miami is hosting New England for the first of two spoilage attempts. In this case, Miami's first win would mean New England's first loss. Can they spoil the Patriots like they spoiled the Bears last year? Or are Tom Brady and Randy Moss really unstoppable? Jacksonville is hosting Indy on Monday Night Football. Some people consider the Jags the best of the one-loss teams. The question is this: Is Indy's run defense as bad as Week 14 last year when Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor ran for almost as many yards (166 and 131, 297 total) as Peyton Manning threw for (313)? The 4-2 Bucs are rolling into the Motor City to face the 3-2 Lions. I don't think anybody expected either team to be where they are (except maybe Jon Kitna and his 10-6 guarantee). Can the Bucs get through a game without losing yet another running back? Pittsburgh at Denver for the Sunday night game. (BTW: Indy @ Jacksonville is my upset special of the week.)
  23. Looking for today's CC agenda I found.... this :lol :lol :lol Awesome! Jeffrey Loria broke the law! Too bad Josh wasn't available to start Game 3. But at least we did get any three-game sweep.
  24. You'd think they'd just won the World Series. :mischief
