Got to hand hand it to Atlanta for being active early compared to most teams. Guess it's that new ballpark factor.

At least we've gone out and signed someone early rather than our usual tactic of delaying and limiting ourselves to the absolute dregs.

With the new ballpark in Atlanta, this is their version of Buehrle/Bell/Reyes. Bet it somehow works out better than our first season in our new home went.

As expected the Nats picked up Gio's option so we can score him off the wishlist.

One of the best games I've ever seen. Was worth staying up watching till 5am even though I had to set my alarm for 7am and go to work on 2 hours sleep.

Seen all 5 episodes but still unsure if I'm enjoying this show or not. Certainly intrigued.

Yeah cocaine. Dont know anyone who has ever taken heroin. Boys weekends away some have taken a few lines of coke but on very rare occasion. Well educated people with good jobs but sometimes people feel they need something extra for a good night. For me alcohol is plenty.

This doesnt change anything for me in terms of the hurt I felt over the incident. Obviously disappointed that Jose took cocaine however doesnt tarnish his image as my favourite player. I have good friends who have dabbled in such substances...I'll never take it but its a lot more common than some may think.

I have no problem with their fans - was a sole Marlins fan with my orange Stanton jersey on a train carriage full of Cubs fans after 2 games at Wrigley and didn't hear any snide comments. Maybe had the Marlins won it would have been different...

Maybe, we'll see. Hope to tick off a few more ballparks in my quest to visit them all.

Cubs and Indians haven't won in forever and the year I go to both Wrigley and Progressive Field for games, they both make the World Series. Just saying.....
