  1. Moore and Clevinger. The only two with good seasons
  2. Sixto will be in the rotation next year
  3. So we're going to get passed by the Nats and Mets now too?!?!
  4. This was the easiest stretch of 10 games remaining and we've lost 3 of the first 4 🙂
  5. Perspective is important. Look at our remaining schedule vs that of other WC contenders. There is very little hope.
  6. Just saw on mlbtr that the Marlins have had preliminary extension talks with Soler. Good sign.
  7. We should probably try to get both Bell and Soler to stay. Otherwise we need to replace them... the replacement for at least one of them is Avifail
  8. Hard to score runs when Luis Arraez has turned into Joey Wendle
  9. The state of disarray here cannot be overstated. The SD team that kicked our ass last has lost 3 in a row since winning a series against us. And we almost got swept by the Nationals. There will be no ground gained here. At this point I'm rooting for Arraez to squeak out a batting title against a dude who not only hits the ball harder, but apparently may end up hitting the ball more frequently....
  10. I'm more concerned about Bell opting out. He's been on fire.
  11. Just stop watching this shit. It's a waste of time. Fuck Jazz if he really isn't running to first with effort
  12. Arraez may not even win the batting title at this point. Freeman is only like 10 points below him
  13. I would use it all the freaking time. I'm trying to break away from the mind numbing conveniences we have today and how interconnected everything is... so getting in my car and driving to a store, taking the time to just browse and select something based on what's new and the back of case is something that would interest me greatly
  14. They're trying to lose. Why the fuck is this the move. We were getting close to coming back. Gotta throw in the ol wrench. "Oh useless one. Come here. I want you to go in there and do something stupid"
  15. HAMPSON is our pinch hitter everyone
  16. Game over. I don't even know why I watch this shit
  17. Are these umps fucking helping the Padres? Seriously that was a strike and the shit they threw to Soler and Bell was not
  18. They're doing the thing again where the pitching shows up but not the offense, or vice versa.
  19. Another change of course is the last thing we need. Kim needs to see this core through at the very least.
  20. I hate to root for one of our guys' injury, but if Avi is injured, they can't play him and his terrible bat 🙂
  21. This is probably our last shot to put together a meaningful win streak. Over the next 10 games, we play SD once, WAS 7 times, and TB 2 times. It'd be nice to be 7+ games over 500 after this stretch. That means going 7-3. It's very doable and will probably put us in the middle of the WC teams with a few games of padding. Then they're going to need to dig deep within themselves and answer how much they really want this. They play LAD 3 times, PHI 3 times, MIL 7 fucking times, and ATL 3 times. That's 16 very difficult games. They play NYM 6 times and PIT 3 times to counterbalance it Besides Philly, they will not play any of their direct competition for the WC spots, so it will be a matter of putting your head down and winning. No big series where they can gain 3 games on a competitor.
  22. I'll stop when we stop losing. I'll stop when we stop losing, and you can't stop me
