June 3, 200422 yr Any R.E.M. fans? They're truly amazing. My brother-in-law is a huge fan and I remember when we were in Athens, GA in '96, he took me to the studio where R.E.M. first got started, which is now a record store. My favorite song is "Losing My Religion".

June 3, 200422 yr Saw them live a few times...My fave albums are Life's Rich Pageant and Document...Have all of their CDs...Rumor has it they have a new studio album coming this summer (as does Rush...:-) )
June 4, 200422 yr Losing My Religion is a great song, but just got completely ruined for me when MTV & the radio stations overplayed it to DEATH. That album is a must-have though. Go listen to all their older stuff. Buy the Eponymous collection & go from there. I don't think the Monster album is one of their best particularly, but it's all good. I think Driver 8 might be my favorite song.... but too many to decide from.

June 4, 200422 yr Author "Stand" is definitely a very cool song. Weird video, but very cool song. I like "Shiny Happy People" also. They're some quite catchy tunes.
June 5, 200422 yr Automatic for the People is my favorite CD of REM. AFTP is BY FAR the best REM CD of all time. Anyone that is an REM fan that doesn't have it should go buy it. Damn good album. :thumbup
