June 25, 200422 yr I hope the time away from the bigs had made Tejera hungry to stay. I'm also anxious to see if his lower arm angle will make him more successful against lefties. If he does well, he could take Borland's roster spot.....or perhaps even Koch's, as it looks to me like Billy needs some time in AAA to fix his control.
June 25, 200422 yr Koch just needs to accept that he's older than 5 years ago and can't throw quite as hard. He's pressing looking for something that's never going to come back. Knock 5mph off, regain control, and he'd be fine. All this is true. However, he still may be better off working through this in AAA
June 25, 200422 yr I really hope that Tejera can earn himself a spot on the roster and Saturday may be the only chance to prove that. I have always liked him and would like to see him here in the bigs. So lets see how he performs in a put up or shut up situation on Saturday against the D Rays.
