I dunno, these are all REPORTS and RUMORS so far..pls Ricky tell me it aint happenin =|

Goddamn it. Goddamn it. Goddamn it.

This offseason for the Dolphins is even worse than the firesale of 97-98. This is the absolute worst of all time. God f***ing damnit Ricky, you just don't do that unless your that horribly injured. The timing was classless. Everything is classless about the move, you wait till the beginning of the offseason to do it, not the end. :fyou

The Dolphins are going to have to hope that Minor can give em 1000 yards... :mad :

Rebuilding year. Might as well and trade players with hefty contracts for young guns. You know we won't go anywhere with Wanny, AJ and Travis Minor.

Ricky is a quitter. Weird guy, the choice isn't a wrong one, but the timing make him a quitter. Saints got the best of that deal for sure. Sucky day for a Fin fan.

WTF?

I wake up to this news.

Season ain't over.Leonard Henry is your time to shine and he has the skills to be play at a high level.Travis Henry is not bad either but I like Henry upsid more.

We'll have a ton of money in 2005.

Anyone think the Fins might now make a play for a RB by trading Ogunleye? I think a Michael Bennett for Adewale Ogunleye would be decent. Maybe even an Ogunleye for Stephen Jackson.

Currently hearing on 560 WQAM that now the Dolphins can resign Ogunleye to a long term contract along with extending Chambers contract.

At least we have Chris Chambers, David Boston, and Randy McMichael. They're good for about 2500 yards receiving combined and around 20TDs. Also, our defense is still top notch. I'm not as down as I was yesterday, I think this team can succeed. I mean, we made the playoffs with Karim Abdul-Jabbar for Christ's sakes. We will find a way.

hey, now they'll be forced to use their good receivers....

Dolphins could actually be exciting to wtach! Horrors!

This kind of gets me excited to see the Dolphins play, even though I'm not a fan.

My same thought. Even though it might just be us Fin fans giving ourselves false hope.

But that fact is Ricky had an awful year last year whether it be the O-lines fault or not he had horrible year.

3.5 yards a carry is nothing to wet your panties over and we still almost made the playoffs if a couple of plays would have went our way we would at least made the 1st round of the playoffs.

All we can hope is maybe they trade for somebody like a Admin Johnson or someone from Jacksonville like Brandon Toefield since their stacked with runningsbacks to compete with Leornad Henry and Travis Minor.

Well the Fins may be so bad that they may not have the opportunity to choke in December and will instead have to settle for choking in the August heat of training camp or in September.

But will rumors of getting a more then qualified young back who's a #2 on their team for a high draft pick be true?

I've heard names like Najeh, Onterrio Smith, Deshuan Foster, Anthony Thomas, and a few others floated around...

First of all, they will be worse off but not terrible. The team was built around Ricky Williams, but did not certainly hinge solely on him. We do have a great defense and a great receiver corps. Travis Minor is not terrible either. He was one time the top HS recruit in the nation and was a star at FSU. He does have some skill.

Second of all, Mr. John Clatyon, where have you heard these rumors? I would think they would have been circulating around here, and dont give me any "my sources" crap.

But wasnt McMichael Charged with Abuse to his Wife? a week or 2 ago.

:plain

McMichael might not even play half of the season.

Boston is a fluke that we are taking a chance on.

Our offensive line is as effective as Sadaam's personal guard.

The defense chokes on 3rd down plays.

And the two best guys on offense (Norv Turner and Ricky) are gone.

Put a fork in us for 2004.

McMichael is starting for the season.

The defense does not choke on 3rd down plays.

Boston COULD be good. Thats a MAYBE.

And lets see what the new O-Coordinator can do.

I still believe in them.

Also Edgerin James could be a possibility for Miami. So that sounds good. If he doesnt come to Miami we should trade for Fred Taylor. He has the same style of running as Ricky Williams. He is a power back.

Norv Turner and Ricky were pretty bad last year. I don't know that this move will necessarily kill the season. I think Minor can step in, I really do. Though it kind of seems like we're going to trade for someone. I'd be interested in grabbing James Stewart. Why didn't he play last year?
