Out indefinitely. 7/29 (Elbow)

That's weird because it doesn't say that on my screen? wtf?

If that's from 7/29, I'd assume we would have heard something..

ok when I click on his statistics, it is there but not under profile. weird.. anyway

I don't think we should worry. Technically he is out indefinitely but we expect him back some time? Does that make sense?

Well they said tonight during the 3 inning non-existing game that they saw Benitez throw before the game and they said he looked fine, didn't they?

Benitez is on the 15 day DL he come out of it on Sat. vs Brewers, Mota will close the games

??

Yeah, Benitez is on the DL now, 15-day, and should be coming off the DL this Saturday against the Brewers

putting him on the DL was simply a way to clear a roster spot, otherwise the team couldn't play more than 24 players. this way they have 25 players availble.

The Marlins were smart to keep Benitez's arm woes quiet. They could have lost some serious leverage when dealing for Mota if the Dodgers had know of a potential problem.

Another good move by Beinfest.

:thumbup

If we wouldn't have Mota, this would be a problem but I think that we'll be fine and plus, we're playing sucky teams.

*remembers how the expos pwn us*

Let's just hope we get some offense!

He's been 15 day DL'd. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that this means we only miss Benitez until Friday because he's been out since last Thursday's Philly game, so it's going to be tough, but really, it's only 3 games against the D'Backs so it isn't like missing him for a four gamer against the Braves...

buh-NEE-tez, haha.

It doesn't say anything about being out indefinitely when I click on it?

Indefinately just means that the return date hasn't been set yet, not that he is out forever.

It is now set, therefore he is no longer out indefinately.
