June 21, 200323 yr I'm dumbfounded. I went and saw the Hulk instead of our new hero get his first ML hit, which happened to win the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. Wow, I'm not sure I will be able to sleep tonight. , well "hopefully" you'll see many more HR's from Miggy.... seeing the HULK < Cabs hitting game winning HR

June 21, 200323 yr What impressed me the most wasn't the homer (well, maybe it was) but his previous AB's. The kid had no problem keeping up with pitches, knew his situations at the plate and laid off the garbage. I really expected him to be fooled on a couple of AB's, but he was dead on on most of the offerings. As an aside, I sat next to Loria at the game, and the smile on his face was about 50 feet wide when Cabrera jacked it.. I also found it amusing that when the 2B ump blew the call on Gonzalez's tag on the SB Loria was up screaming. Granted, it wasn't exactly Mark Cuban or anything, but he was letting go, which I found very surprising. Perfect... I agree with every word that Fish said... Great response... Glad I called in all the special favors I had for those tickets...Best night I've had at a Marlins' game, by far. I'm guessing you weren't at Game 7?
June 21, 200323 yr Glad I called in all the special favors I had for those tickets...Best night I've had at a Marlins' game, by far. Glad to hear you had a good time Fillet. Despite the rain it turned out to be one helll of a night for the Marlins. The Fish are SINGING IN THE RAIN lately. Wow that was bad. I'll take yet another moment to praise Mark Redman and another fantastic outing. 136 pitches?!! He said it was possibly his best win ever. Didn't get the W but when the team won it just gave him this great feeling. What an incredible addition the guy has been. And to think, our #4 and 5 starters for a while last year were Tavarez and Tejera... Shamrock....you mean that wasn't the Incredible Hulk there in the bottom of the 11th?? "Don't throw that ball at me Al Levine....you'll make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!!! ARGH! Miguel SMASH!!"

Didn't get the W but when the team won it just gave him this great feeling. What an incredible addition the guy has been. And to think, we got him for two mediocre pitching prospects... To be honest, from what I have seen, to me Redman has been that much more dominant than Willis this year, respectively. They have both been nothing short of amazing, but man has Redman really done well... Shamrock....you mean that wasn't the Incredible Hulk there in the bottom of the 11th?? June 21, 200323 yr Author Let me join the chorus of supporters of Mark Redman. Terrific game, he's become a stalwart on this staff, Beinfest ought to congratulated for getting the guy. Filet old buddy, I'm glad you had a great time.
