WTF dude, i'm the last guy to be a bandwagoner, and no i don't want the Cubs in the World Series. what i meant was, so many weird things have happened this year that this could happen. i would kill for the marlins to be in the WS. i meant that the marlins before last year were a perenial second tier team and no one expected anything from us and we were supposed to be contracted. the marlins are now a serious contender for the WC. who woulda thought this would ever happen again? just shows you how the baseball landscape has changed the last couple years.

No way they risk running him out there with a broken hand ... and even if they wanted to he couldn't because his cast (which he will have because he'll probably need surgery) can't go any farther up his arm than his glove or it's construed as a distraction to the batter. The Red Sox are going to win the East.

 

And it will be Yanks-Sox in the ALCS, since Minnesota and/or Oakland would find a way to lose to the Yankees in the playoffs no matter what. Yanks could throw out a little league squad and win, those 2 are intimidated.

 

We'll see what happens in the ALCS. On paper, the Sox are the better team, but that doesn't mean a thing.

 

If I had to pick right now, I'd say the Sox win the AL, but, as much as I wish they were, the Yankees aren't "done."

Kevin Brown can still pitch. Derek Jeter just needs to retrieve the ball from the catcher.
