September 5, 200422 yr That would be very unfortunate. He has played lights out for us and If there are rumors saying he is going to go to FA then who says he is giving it all out there?

If someone was a fan last winter he or she had to know this. I guess we have to put up with another September of uninformed newbies as the Fish inch their way towards the playoffs. :banghead

September 5, 200422 yr WOW....I might not post much but I've been a fan since the begining of time. Chuck Carr days and everything......Charlie Hough (knuckle Baller), but guys give the newbies a break, they will catch on....and YES Benitez will become a free agent....but won't command much to re-sign...remember Guillermo Mota can close......so Benitez is not a priority signing! Mota is the next big thing in our bullpen, he is great and will be greater....RELAX....
