Would they let me in the stadium....

Featured Replies

with a ball? Just making sure since PPS has a weird set of rules about what you can/can not bring into the ballpark.

PPS has some of the dumbest policy's ever. I took my mom to the game last night and she brought an apple with her because she wanted to eat it during the game, when we tried to go in they said she couldn't bring it because she might THROW IT ON THE FIELD!?!?! So they let people bring actual baseballs but not apples... ridiculous.

would they let someone in with a marlins bookbag?just like the little nike ones. its empty, i just want to get it signed.

They don't let you bring bags in unless the bag is smaller than the dimensions of a standard sheet of paper, another dumb rule. Even if they look through the entire bag and see that it's fine, they won't let it in.

You can bring an apple if it's cut up.

Why do they not make you cut the baseball up then?

They do. It's a bit sloppy, but if you're creative you can still fit in an autograph somewhere.

They've relaxed the rules a bit about the dimensions of the size of the bag. it's now about 14 X 17. Each rep holds a stiff cardboard with the dimensions of the size of the bag. And they let bookbags in as long as they're a purse style. I have a clear backpack which conforms to the dimensions and they have let me in before at several different gates.

My little cousin is diabetic and he was coming in with some special drink he needs to have every now and then and they did not let him bring it in. My aunt was so mad because that was so ridiculous.

They allowed me to bring in water as long as it's sealed..but that's the only thing I saw they allow, they said no drinks otherwise.

Did your aunt call someone higher up and complain? Because I sure as hell would've.

That is totally absurd.

I hate PPS so much. I hate everything about PPS from the rude staff, to the ridiculous policies, to the layout of the parking lot, to absolutely zero leg room in the seats because of cup holders gouging into your knees, etc. etc. etc. I've been to almost every major league baseball park on the east coast over the past 5-6 years and PPS is undoubtedly the worst.

PPS is horrible, I really can't wait until the new stadium is built *drools*.

EDIT: Well actually, I don't hate EVERYTHING about PPS, because they're the only stadium i've ever been too which has a veggie burger, and it's damn good :D .

the only thing i hate about it is is that people have to get out of their seats every 5 minutes its crazy

That's why we got seats in the middle of the row. We never get up once we're sitting so we don't ever get bothered.

PPS is a football stadium, not a baseball stadium. I hope our new park is a REAL baseball park :)
