WTF is wrong? Never see that big of a crowd again. Great Job Fish. Everyone played great except for the Marlins bats and Almanza. Pudge played great D and had a great offensive game. :(

The Typical Bandwagoner must be thinking man this team plays mind games with me. Everytime I come we lose. Better stay home next time. Unless we make some trades the bandwagon fans are not going to come out to the games.

They need to really win some games on this upcoming road trip, especially against Philly...

I'd like to see Thome have a few whiffs just for old time's sake...(Where's Nen and his 102mph when ya need him?)

Nen. Done. Finito. Gone.

If we continue to win and generate buzz they will come back again, just not as big a crowd, but a nice size. Tonight we raised our average attendance a bit, let me crunch numbers and get a new avg. number for you guys.

The fans will be back...

This was a great game... They all know how good Dontrelle was, and they'll be back to see him...

BTW: I know Opening Day sold out, but this crowd LOOKED like it had more people than ANY game but the World Series. That crowd was HUGE, and damn were they in that game...

great game(except the outcome)

fans were awesome

Lowell, DW and Pudge got the biggest 'pops'

Marlins average attendance rises from 12,979 to 13,390 because of tonight's game. We go from 29th place in front of the Expos, to 28th place in front of the Expos and Devil Rays.

Pudge if he did't have the past ball we would of won? He did't have a good game. Not sure why he got such a good pop from the crowd must of been real early in the game.

People will come back solely because this may be their first tru playoff type baseball experience, and they liked it.

True.

They may not have won, but I bet you they still remember what they saw Tuesday night on BT... Plus, it was a great game. Willis will bring a 20K crowd into every start if he makes the AS team...

This is a great team and the fans took notice. They played hard against the best team in the game, and they beat them 2 of 3 times...

I had us losing the Sox series 1 of 3 and winning this one 2 to 3. So we are right where I thought we woud be. I have us losing the philly series 1 to 3, so let's hope they prove me wrong...

That sucks we have to keep attendace higher than the Rays! Whats is this.

We can only yet beat out the Expos and D-Rays? Man our Record should be bringing a lot more fans than that. Is South Florida still pissed at the Fire Sales or do they just hate baseball?

South Florida Fans Need To Get Off Their High Horses and Go Out To The games. YOU SUPPORTED THE PANTHERS (WHO HAVE HAD FIRE SALES TOO) AND THE HEAT (WHO SUCK) FOR A LONG TIME AND BLINDLY, BUT YOU CAN'T SUPPORT THE ONLY TEAM IN TOWN WHO HAS BROUGHT YOU THE ONLY CHAMPIONSHIP IN TOWN SINCE 1973!

We've only had one fire sale. You said "sales", plurel. It's only been one, and if they're still pissed they need to go to therapy...

we are a .500 team

if we get 10 over and the attendance doesnt get better than i would be pissed

We are averaging 13,390 fans a game, so we have improved over last year big time, where we had around 10,000. It will take time, but the thing is how much time do we have? :unsure :

I am sure Loria will wait a while and if they don't come he will move the team.

I believe people will come back for every game progressively. My goal is 14,000 to 15,000 people per game on average by the end of this year. This would be a reasonable 4,000 to 5,000 people over last year. This will pend on whether we win or not.
