December 24, 200421 yr Where was Peja? Why C Webb? 642004 :confused Without any timeouts you take what you can get with 1.7 seconds. If it's an open 27 footer you should be satisfied.

If it's an open 27 footer you should be satisfied. 642007 It was an airball by C Webb, and an open shot. Can't believe he aired it. I remember Peja aired one in the playoffs 2 years ago. :lol
December 24, 200421 yr That was an awsome game, just the 3rd time out of the 53 times that the Kings lost at home to an Eastern Conference team. DJ steping it up again to get the win even though there were some questionable calls in the 4th quarter in favor of the Kings.
December 24, 200421 yr Author there were some questionable calls in the 4th quarter in favor of the Kings. 642028 Some? It seemed basically every call there for about 8 minutes after Christie was booted went their way. :mischief2
December 24, 200421 yr Make it 11 after Christmas 642005 dont jinx it....anyway great game and great win. down to the wire and we beat them at home.
December 24, 200421 yr just a great win. Heat proving they can play with anyone anywhere. Very encouraging after their prior blow outs against western conference foes. They're rollin.
December 24, 200421 yr what a game overcame a big deficit in the first half, then 12 in the last 6 minutes.... i have so much confidence in this team right now, i just hope EJ and DJ keep it up

Webber hada similar shot but it went in and out.
December 24, 200421 yr I actually watched the fourth quarter of that game yesterday. Lets just say I was very bored. Anyway, great last 2 minutes of the game.
December 24, 200421 yr http://www.miamiheatcentral.com/forums/ind...p?showtopic=195 642135 I forgot about that site.....
December 24, 200421 yr Webber had an open look too 642003 Yeah it was an open look, but he was like 5 feet behind the arc, that is wayyyyyy out of his range, he makes that shot maybe 2 of 10 with more time, they should have tried to get an open 2 instead of a miracle 3 The Heat are ballin, no one wants to face them right now...SVG for coach of the year
December 24, 200421 yr I'm not really sure why some people have reacted with surprise with Miami's win yesterday and current streak. They aren't the great defensive teams of Pat Riley's day, this is a West Coast All Offense No Defense team that just happens to play on the Eastern seaboard. No lead is safe against Flash and Co.
December 24, 200421 yr The Heat play more defense than you may think. Scoring in the NBA is up about 10 pts per game. The Heat are a top 10 defense in the NBA. But the difference is that the Heat can score, and when they score, they score a lot.
December 24, 200421 yr The only thing they are doing well defensively is blocking shots, they lead the league in blocking differential. Outside of that their defense is ok, they give up way too many fast breaks and don't rotate as well as they used to. With the amount of points they are scoring, this isn't a problem, but don't fool yourself into thinking Miami is an elite defensive team just because stats say they are Top 10 in many categories.
December 24, 200421 yr whoa..I lost faith in the game when the heat were down by about 10 with 2 1/2 mins left.. nice comeback
