January 14, 200521 yr The Arena Football League, the second-longest running football league in U.S. history, and Electronic Arts announced today that they have signed an exclusive agreement to produce an AFL video game by the start of the 2006 AFL season. EA will bring the first product, based on the 2005 AFL 2005 season, to store shelves by the beginning of the 2006 AFL season. http://www.sportplanet.com/ I'm guessing it will be identical to Madden in every way, just the arena teams and arena venues which should be awesome because I love arena football, in a video game I think it would be more fun to play than regular football.
January 14, 200521 yr Author I've been hoping for a lacrosse video game for like 10 years, so making an AFL game is a step in the right direction .

January 14, 200521 yr Author EA Sports Presents: CANADIAN COLLEGE CURLING 2005!!!!! CAN YOU HANDLE IT????? EA Sports: I guess we're in the game. 655450 EA actually has a long running series of Cricket and Rugby games, however they're exclusively available in Europe and Australia only, sometimes you'll find a copy on eBay though. I actually have a copy of Rugby 2002, it's awesome, identical to Madden 2002 in everyway, but it's rugby (duh). http://www.electronic-arts.com.au/easports...?product_id=188 http://www.electronic-arts.com.au/easports...?product_id=234

Wonder if it will have online play...
January 16, 200521 yr You guys miss the point. Its an EXCLUSIVE contract. ESPN was looking into making Arena Football games after EA bought an exclusive contract with the NFL, and EA just beat them to the AFL. This is just locking ESPN out from making their great $19.99 games. Also allowing EA to make whatever the hell they want because you won't have a choice if you want another football game other than what they offer.
January 16, 200521 yr 657250 well now we all know that Monopoly is the same in French as in English

I always buy EA games anyway, except for College Bball.
