Optimism, Attendance Up In Miami

Featured Replies

if we keep on winning and have a homestand with average 20,000 attendance per game, we might be able to pass Detroit in attendance and become 27th in mlb attendance rank.

:w00t pass detroit!!! :w00t

that'd be a really nice accomplishment...

seems as though with an exciting team like ours we should'nt be even mentioned in the same sentance as Detroit :mischief2

1truefan - I remember you. I went in that same day that Juanky went in, but earlier. You were wearing the All-Star National League Jersey and this lady was in there talking about how her mom watched the World Series in the hospital and how she knew the entire '67 Red Sox line-up!

LOL

I bought this sleeveless collared white shirt -- but it was for my grandma :)

Actually, Detroit is a good comparison point for attendance. They have a new ballpark, terrible team, and plenty of history. The average around 17,000 per game, if we pass them and continue to draw, we can quickly climb to the middle of the pack.

Yes.....I remember you too. lol.

I remember that lady too.....that she loved Boston....lol.

Big O expects 90,000 for this weekend series.I think this series might average 30k...Big O show was just on the Marlins and people are jumping on bandwagon.

The bandwagon is filling up...

the bandwagon is filling up, but we are the ones driving baby, we'll always know that people like us stuck through the loosing, that makes the winning now so much sweeter, i love being a marlins fan

yup everyone that hates marlins now going to see them win ... wow all bagwagons

Hey Pudge, nice sig. Think of it all by yourself?

*cough*sarcasm*cough*

Where are we getting these attendance numbers from? Speculation? Or does someone actually know?

Inside Information. :shifty

Not everyone is a bandwagoner.

for example - If someone attended 10 games a year with a mediocre team, with a winning team they may go to 20 games.

I believe our fan base may be more solid than what we give credit to.

Remember, WayneH screw us and Henry boy wasn't any better. This ownership is demonstrating that they want to do the right things. All the previous damage done takes time to heal.
