April 9, 200521 yr D-Train's the man. He gets lost in the shuffle a little with all the attention on Josh & AJ being the keys this year, but you know Willis is going to pitch his heart out. Great game all around. The big bats woke up & defense was stellar. :thumbup
April 9, 200521 yr Willis and Valdez are the most important to me. The must be consistent because they will start the most games most likely.
April 9, 200521 yr Thank you. :thumbup D-Train had by far the best outing of any starter yet. If he can only be consistent this year he's bound to win 15 or more games. No more sophomore blues?
April 9, 200521 yr I look to see him have a big year this year. All that crap about other batters having seen him already went out the window with his solid ERA last year. Now that he has gotten through his sophmore slump and he is that much more mature, I think he can be awfully good this year.
April 9, 200521 yr Honestly the starting pitching is the key to this season. The Braves won all those division titles with the their starting pitching. Great starts by Josh and D-Train, pretty darn good Leiter and not so bad AJ, let's hope they can keep it rolling. The question is are all the wins this year going to be 9-0!!!!!!!
April 9, 200521 yr dontrelle pitched one hell of a game. a terrific outing and the hitting came alive. lets keep the lineup like this for now and see if if Brian can have a good start tomorrow for this team and win the series.
April 9, 200521 yr That was a terrific performance tonight! He didn't struggle early on like Josh did on Tuesday and kept his composure when the runners did reach base. He also had a nice night at the plate as well :thumbup
April 9, 200521 yr Article on D-Train. I'd prefer more nights like tonight than nights like last night.

April 9, 200521 yr Wait.. is this supposed to be a negative thread, but slots 2-6 of the order didn't work the count as great and the reception on MASN/WDCA was fuzzy. :lol Good game all around. Big props up to Willis and Cabs and Luiy (made a throwing mistake, but hustled all game long) and heck everyone else.

April 9, 200521 yr Willis is the best #4 pitcher in baseball! 734899 Lets not get crazy, but he is pretty good. :thumbup
April 9, 200521 yr Willis & Cabrera starring for the Fish, sounds like 2003 eh? :mischief2 734886 I'll take that!
April 9, 200521 yr Is it possible for us to win a close game? It's like we either just absolutely explode on offense or we have NO offense at all, there is just no middle ground. I really hope our offense doesn't disappear for the final two games in this series like what happened with the Braves after putting up 9 runs against them.

April 9, 200521 yr how bout big props to lo duca, some people over looked that play where he slides and saves the ball from the dugout, which would have been a double. Only one time did a runner pass second and that was in the ninth when the game was pretty much locked away, keep that in mind.
April 9, 200521 yr And how about that slide from Luiy to score? Looked alot like Alex' slide in game 6.
April 9, 200521 yr D-Train was extremely inconsistent last year. Basically, he does well when he throws strikes to get ahead in the count, but he can only less than half the time. If he's consistent, he can be one of the best starters in the NL.
